Wegmans Distribution Center — Local services in Town of Gates

Attention Truckers: I arrived here early for a 9am apt. Security station is somewhat close to the road but there are 2 lanes which can be used to drive up to the check point. Park your truck and walk in with your BOL's and license to check in. If you've never been here before tell them so they can give you a paper map that will show you where you need to go.

They will likely tell you to drop your trailer in a designated area, break your seal, place your BOL's in the trailer than close the doors, than drive to the bobtail parking area. Porta Potties are on site while waiting. If you have to pay a lumper the link will be sent to you via text.

After I paid my lumper I received a call telling me what door to hook to my trailer so I can leave. If your trailer is docked in doors 1-44 you will have to drive inside the building to grab your trailer. Just look for a large door that says "Drive in docks 1 thru 44 entrance". You should see your signed BOL's in your trailer as your hooking up to it, make sure to leave 1 door open so security can verify your empty when you leave.

Overall the staff was nice and respectful here and It's very unlikely that you'll have to bump a dock which is a plus. This facility is a little tight and there are jockeys driving around at all times but the process was manageable and unloading took...

No night parking so I most important thing so just make sure correct delivery location because the broker gave me this location address when I arrived here so the security gave me one slip and told me go to this location then i make u turn and go to different location but its not to far its one 4-5 miles but when they give you slip then you not see any address on slip just they give you directions but i add one picture you can see it and check address if its work for you and when you arrive another location check in with security and go all the way straight and make right and again make right then check in office your left park or stop truck on side and open door for building and scan your card which one security give to you and upstairs then you see window for check in and then they give you door and also they took you on appointment so make sure you go by appointment and i have only 5 pilot and they finished me in 20 minutes and also when you received phone call and then after phone call light is green then you can pull forward and your paperwork is back sidd of trailer and leave open door for your trailer because security check it and also they don’t have parking after finishing your load so...

Avoid this place, don’t deliver anything to them. They will reject minimum 5-7 pallets of their load on every truck every day and they don’t care if driver was booked with another load right after them, driver has to deal with their garbage inside his trailer. The reason for rejection is so stupid that it’s not even laughable:, Even produce wasn’t damaged at all not even their boxes for some hell of a reason quality control didn’t like just the way how produce supposed to be look like, they probably expected to see square or triangle shaped tomatoes instead round ones. Why they don’t send their quality control crew to the places where they order their stuffs to check them first then load trucks. Definitely not delivering anything anymore to this place and wish them get bankrupt and closed down forever for not appreciating hard working and #1 moving American economy...
