Rent-A-Center — Local services in Town of Geneseo

They were supposed to deliver a tv today between 1:00-3:00pm then I received a text that delivery would be between 3:00-5:00pm. I just called at 4:40pm to confirm delivery and they said unfortunately they won’t be delivering today but Tuesday. So no courtesy call letting me now about this changes. I’ve been home waiting for them, expecting my tv to be delivered today 8/30/25 TV was delivered today 9/2/2025 after waiting all day for them, one person got here at almost 6:00pm( that’s the time the store closes) he asked me to help him bring tv inside because box was broken and if he lifted box tv would fall. I helped him, I signed paperwork and he left. I took out tv from box and plugged it in before placing it where I wanted it but I didn’t get to that point because tv screen is cracked. Mind you tv is supposedly new. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to see what they will do about this situation!! 🙄 worse experience ever with...

Manager is rude. Asked me about my sister and her account before i even got to see the items i was interested in. Texted 2 times and called once the day my payment was due before 10:30am. Told me the items i was interested in was all garbage and wouldn’t be restocking. I requested my consent for prerecorded messages and automated calls be undone and told me a note would be made but can’t make promises. Left with my item and immediately had to put air in tires, received one BENT key for my ebike. Store was trashed and items were taken apart and laying in piles everywhere, items were dirty and not cleaned. Just a awkward not...

Update Aug 23, 2020. New staff at the Geneseo NY location. Their knowledge and expertise has been increasing. They were very helpful and were ready with my paperwork upon my arrival. The changes of management and employees was worth it. Shout-out to Chris. He was very patient and helpful with my situation and was able to fix the problems with my online account. Keep up...
