Great Wegmans. Good selection of items from produce to deli items, bakery deliciousness, prepared foods, pantry items galore and a wonderful (and large) freezer section. They also have a couple of large gluten free/vegan aisle if your diet requires such items. They offer instacart services with curbside pickup and it has been a seemless experience each time I have used it. The store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are helpful as well. Self checkout is available if you have a few items and want to handle the scanning yourself. The only downside with Wegmans is that the tend to replace items with their own brand, which can occasionally make it difficult if you are seeking a specific brand for an item. But overall, I prefer Wegmans to Tops due to the fast that Wegmans has a larger selection(and typically higher quality) of produce, better bakery and deli sections, and to find niche brands I enjoy like Tillamook dairy and 647 breads. 2022 Update:the store was recently updated which means some areas are rearranged and some things have been moved-the organic section has been done away with and replaced with a larger florist area and some extra cheese shop items. Organic items are available next to the regular items in their relevant aisles. There are new gluten free/vegan aisles and one aisle of sports nutrition (next to the pharmacy near the baby items and vitamins /supplements). Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast night my wife and I went in for some groceries, when we got to checkout we had lost a gift card Iād just brought in, I know I had it and in the heat of the moment, I got flustered and looked around the store in a panic. I was pretty upset and finally an awesome gentleman in the meat department had found it on the ground by the meat case, he noticed I was looking for something and flagged me down. It must have fallen out of my pocket. I got back to the service desk with my wife and we went to pay for the stuff we had put aside and to our surprise some Good Samaritan paid the bill. They must have noticed the situation and were so kind to pay it forward. We were in shock and still are, itās so good to know at a great place like Wegmans, they have great customers that are kind enough to do something so generous. The service desk was very kind in helping us hold the groceries and helping resolve this issue. I didnāt think such a thing would happen to us. Iām grateful and thank you for whomever helped us last night. Iāll definitely be paying it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm honestly conflicted on this review. The produce is the best around, I bought a 1/4 watermelon and I think it was the best watermelon I've ever tasted. The sub shop, for the love of all things holy PLEASE if you can not remember how a customer wants a sub made, write it down. There is nothing wrong with that in my opinion. I would rather have you take an extra minute to write it down than to get home 30+miles to find it made incorrectly. But, what makes it worse this is the 3rd time in a row. This last time I called and was told to bring the sub back for a replacement. I'm sorry, even though your subs are like $18 for large, I'm not spending another 2 hours in the car and $20 in gas to replace it. Self checkouts, why do your machines have to ask a bunch of questions to even start to scan an item? Your "helping hands" folks are super super nice, I truly appreciate their kindness and help.
