My experience with older heavy set woman with white hair and glasses was very unprofessional, I believe many have complained about her. She made my mother leave before they closed told her to make appointment and was very rude. Then when took father there she got upset because I asked for fax number, on phone with Dr and she thought when I told dr, " yes, that's the one" when being asked name of primary, she started yelling " what do you mean I'm the one, what do you mean" she was acting very unstable as I tried to calm her and tell her I was talking to Dr on phone, not her. She then said I'm not giving you fax and walked in the back, comes back and gives it to me on post it note and yells "you are rude" then yells it again!! Ignoring the fact my father is sitting there in a wheelchair. This woman is unstable and we waited 2 hrs for bloodwork because fax there obviously doesn't work , doctor sent it 3 times. This is horrendous that an 80 yr old man and 80 yr old woman both received this treatment. Quest on Grand Island should be trained on how to deal with people/elderly or at least fire abusive employees. I will be calling headquarters and filing a formal complaint. When the same employee is making you receive all these bad reviews, fire her!!! The other employees there were great and one lady helped and stayed late to get this...
Read moreI had my blood drawn today, Friday, May 24, 2024, at Quest Diagnostics at 1738 Grand Island Blvd, Grand Island, NY 14072.
The employee there (did not give me her name) complained that I had too many orders from different doctors, and that it would take a half an hour and take time away for the people waiting. She was very rude and unpolite. There were about 15 vials taken and it was done in less than 10 minutes, so it did not take time away from any other patients. After she finished, I told her that there more than 10 vials which she previously mentioned that there were not that many. When I said that, she stopped putting a band aid on my arm and I had to remind her that I was bleeding. She was very rough while putting on the band aid.
As I was leaving, I asked to speak to the person in charge and she stated that there was no one in charge. Another employee came in and I asked to speak to someone in charge or the office manager and that employee stated that there was no office manager and no one in charge.
I would like to find out the person in charge of the lab so that I can make a formal complaint and receive an apology for the rude and harsh treatment, which created a lot of...
Read moreVery rude staff. Went for a few simple blood tests ordered by my doctor after fasting 12 hours. Was called in after waiting 30 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time and the lady didn't say good morning and had a rude attitude. She tells me that there are no labs ordered to her and kept cutting me off when I was talking her to explain my situation. I gave her the labs my doc ordered on paper but she was rude when she told me it wouldn't work because it wasn't the actual lab order but just a doctor's note. I didn't know the difference. I tried explaining to her that a few days prior I literally contacted my doctor to confirm they were ordered. But she cut me off twice and said it didn't matter. She then went on a whole rant about how it's definitely my doctor's fault because they have the best fax systems and the doctors always try to blame quest - again, after i confirmed with my doctor that the script was sent, and like I'm supposed to care about your sob story. Overall very bad experience. After checking the other reviews here about the rude staff, I'm really not surprised. It's unfortunate that this quest is the most convenient place for...
