I went here a few times in the last few years at their original location closer to Fairview and their current location closer to Elmsford, both locations addressed as White Plains due to Marketing. I went here when looking for first bike and came back here where I bought my second bike. Overall it was a great Motorcycle store that worked with me at the start and finish of my current path as a Biker (which I began at age 39 in 2023). I initially came here in 2023 when I decided following a Marital Separation to do Motorcycling. It was something different that I’d been curious about at the time. I first met Shane and Mike amongst other staff members who showed me Indian Chiefs I was interested in for my first bike. For my first Bike I decided I wanted a Cruiser made by Harley Davidson or Indian. After looking at 21 models of bikes at 7 dealerships (12 HDs and 9 Indians), I decided my first bike should be an HD Heritage Cruiser. I did not buy at this dealership then but I stayed in touch as Indian was a motorcycle I was still interested in. In winter 2024 I started riding my bike, I had never really ridden before (I attempted motorcycles in 2007 but did not buy then), and now in fall 2025 18 months later I had put in over 20,000 miles. I had also met new lifelong friends through riding who I formed close bonds with. Some of these friends rode Indians as well as Harleys. The vast majority of people I’d ridden with all began suggesting starting in Spring of 2025 I needed to upgrade my bike. I mention that as that’s what brought me back here in Fall of 2025. I came back to this Indian dealership as they had the best service and showroom of the 3 Indian Dealerships I visited. They also had done business with two men who taught me to ride better both of whom owned a Challenger and Pursuit Touring bike. Seeing their bikes and what was recommended for my next bike, I decided I also wanted a Pursuit or a Challenger as a Fixed Fairing Touring Bike like that was heavily recommended for an Upgrade. Coming back to this dealership, I met Shane and Mike again. I mentioned the men I ride with who they fondly remembered doing business with. With the help of this dealership and my fellow riders, I found a brand new 2024 Indian Challenger at a great price and my own HD Heritage was offered a good trade in value as a downpayment. Through all of this I made a life decision to give up my first bike for the bike I bought here. Barely 6 hours into my purchase I found this bike to be an excellent smooth ride and I recieved overwhelming support from my riding network for doing this upgrade. I am now on a bike I feel comfortable doing a cross country trip on. I intend to in the future ride from the Atlantic to the Pacific and back and this bike is definitely one that will be great for that. Their sales team is patient, accommodating, took no hard feelings at my first bike being a HD, and got me the maintenance and service packages needed for a rider like myself. They worked well to get me great monthly payments and put me on the exact bike that was right for me. At no point in the initial or later visits did it feel uncomfortable or unreasonable. If you are in the Hudson Valley or NYC and looking for an Indian motorcycle, you won’t go wrong here.

I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude to Shane, Michael, Chris and Raf! All I can say is my 3 hour ride down was well worth the trip! From walking in the door to loading the bike on my trailer was an amazing and enjoyable experience. First Shane. I spoke to him briefly on the phone to ask about the bike (2024 Chieftain in Sunset Red Smoke). We created such a dialogue , that I knew the transaction was going to be great. He worked with me for a few days without hesitation, answering all kinds of questions about out of state sales and the bike, making the transaction a no brainer for me. He then walked me though the bike and all of it's features. Next was Michael, he made the financing easy as 1, 2, 3. He explained everything in painstaking detail and made everything easy to understand. He also had all the documents ready to sign and took much less time than I would have thought. Then Chris was amazing at the service counter. He took the time to assemble the back rest I had purchased and then came over and helped me install it on the bike right there in the showroom. He also was very helpful to my wife who surprised me with an awesome hoodie. Chris took the time to show her multiple options and sizing. Last but not least was Raf. Raf Carefully pulled the bike around back to load into the trailer, he noticed a small blemish in the headlight bezel, not noticeable to the naked eye and immediately replaced it with a new piece. Then to top it off, he spent some time with me helping to tie the bike down to proper tie down points without batting an eyelash. If I had to do it all over again, my next purchase would be from Indian Motorcycles of White Plains! Thank you all very much!

I took a long time to pull the trigger on getting my dream bike. I’m not made of money so I had to be sure I could swing it. Instead of getting the run around or the sleazy upsell to a bigger more expensive model, Shane spoke to me like we were just two men standing around some pretty motorcycles. He was a real dude. He was smart enough to see how desperately I wanted an Indian. If you made a kids tricycle in the Dark Horse line, I’d want it. I’ve been dreaming of taking home a blacked-out beauty for my very own, and so Shane was able to help me make it a reality. He stayed in touch with me but was never pushy. Once I was able to test ride the Chief Bobber in Black Smoke, I was committed. The paperwork and financing were handled with ease, and once I sat down with Mike, he made damn sure the bank took good care of me. Les makes sure only the finest hard rock playlist is spicing up the vibes inside the store, and he walked me through all the new tech and controls with me before I rode off into the summer night with my new girlfriend. These guys ride and they’re in the store right now waiting for you to ride with them. Thank you gentlemen.

Deceptive Practices and Poor Communication – Avoid This Dealership

Date of Incident: June 10-12 2025

I had a deeply frustrating experience with this dealership while trying to purchase a 2025 Indian Challenger Elite. I secured pre-approval for financing from Affinity Federal Credit Union and Freedom Financial from the dealer 11.9 APR and with a competitive APR at 6.5 APR from Affinity and began the purchase process with staff members Shane and Mike. I was told my financing paperwork was submitted, but the bank “didn’t accept it.” However, when I contacted both Freedom Financial Affinity, they confirmed no paperwork was ever sent to them. The dealership’s claim was false, and they never followed up to resolve the issue or request corrected documents.

Additionally, I was told they couldn’t hold the bike because it was a “special model,” despite my approved financing application. During demo days, they sold the bike without notifying me, leaving me with conflicting stories:

first, that my paperwork wasn’t accepted, then that the bike was sold. This lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable, especially for a high-value purchase.

When I called to ask what could be done, they simply said the bike was sold and offered no solutions or apologies. I also learned from Freedom Financial (their financing partner) that my paperwork was deemed “ineligible,” but the dealership never communicated this to me or attempted to clarify the issue.

This is deceptive and unprofessional business practice. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership, as they failed to honor my financing approval, misled me about paperwork, and sold the bike without any effort to keep me informed.

Suggestions for Improvement: The dealership should train staff to communicate honestly, follow through on financing submissions, and prioritize customers with approved applications.

This will also go with BBB with the proof of approvals from both the banks and the...
