When I arrived the clerk attempted to charge me $235 over what my reservation confirmation was. I asked him to please call the manager so I could get charged the right amount since he didn't know how to make the price adjustment. He refused. I said just charge me and I'll dispute it after the fact so I could get into my room plus there was a line forming. He then refused to ring me up and give me a room. He also refused to tell me his name & was not wearing a name tag. I finally called customer service myself and gave him the phone. He was asking them how to ring up the charge as if they were cashiers. They told him to ask his manager to explain that to him. They also told him if he didn't honor the price they would escalate the dispute up to corporate. He finally called the manager and she was not interested in making good on the price. Since there was a long line he ended up just giving me a room & I said I would stop by in the morning to settle up. This took about 1.5 hours. I specifically asked not to be disturbed since I had to be up early for work. I finally got into the room about 10:45pm. At 11:20 the phone rings & it was the manager asking who I was because the clerk was unable to keep track of which rooms he gave to each customer. She was very belligerent and uninterested in hearing about the issue at hand which was them trying to overcharge me and also calling me after I requested to not be disturbed. She said he wouldn't give his name because that usually means the customer wants to complain. Duh! She also blamed the clerk (Abdul) & said he was a new employee of 2 weeks. The next night when I got back from work my key didn't work so I had to go to the office & the clerk ended up apologizing. However, the next night I had to see Serena the manager who became verbally abusive and aggressive because I refused to talk to her about what happened the 1st night. She literally was yelling at me and wouldn't give me my key back for several minutes. The only reason I had no choice but to wait for my key without just calling the police was because my dogs were in the room. She was just obnoxious and never apologized about anything; just was intent in blaming everyone else - the clerk, the motel 6 website (she claimed they screwed up the price) which is funny because I called customer service right after I made the reservation to subtract a day and they didn't say a word about the price being wrong. Plus the toilet ran &...
