Dessert Oasis — Local services in Town of Greenburgh

I really should have known better when I walked in and the bakery was completely empty and just one worker in back that came out when I walked in. I purchased a cake, fruit tart, and two other things today for my husband birthday. What an embarrassment: The cake was beyond disgusting and super dry. We couldn't even bare to eat a second bite. I picked a vanilla butterscotch cake with sprinkles on the outside. By far, this has been the most disgusting cake I've ever had in my life. The outside was decorated really pretty but when you slice it and look at the inside, it looks like a child baked it in a kiddy oven. And the taste, uhhh. What the hell!? Gluten free or something. Oh, and the fruit tart, the fruits were not fresh. The inside litteraly looks like it been sitting in their fridge for display for weeks. Honestly, the health department needs to close that place down. What are they trying to do, send someone to the hospital? I threw everything...

YUM! *Our favorites...Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate cake with strawberries and bananas, BOTH with fresh cream. I LOVE the fresh sfogliatelle and my husband loves the small fruit tart. Everything is delicious and freshly made, we have been getting our Sweet Treats here for about 10 years. They have ready-made cakes or you can call in an order the day before . They always have a big selection of fresh cookies and a lot of cute decorated cookies for kids. I love their mini pastries (cannoli, eclair, cream puffs) and they also have individual slices of cake (carrots cake, red velvet, tres leche). I have been going to Dessert Oasis for many years now. It is a TREASURE of a place! Their Tres Leches is the BEST, and they have these heart-shaped double-dipped chocolate cookies that are so FAB! I don't know who waited on the people complaining about customer service because all the people who have ever helped me there have been really, really nice and that's one of the reasons I go there! The bakers at this place have excellent skills, and there are so many choices, and the creativity is always evolving. It's really nice, too, to pick up a treat to deliver to a friend, neighbor or co-worker who might be feeling down...
