I have been back to Northeastern Fine Jewelry many times for purchases ranging from minor to major. The staff is incredibly personable and no pressure whatsoever. It is quite evident from the moment you walk in that the entire group is like family. What strikes me is that although the store is spotless and filled with incredibly beautiful jewelry, they somehow manage to completely eliminate any intimidation factors. Every time I’m back there, they either call me by first name or at least acknowledge that they’ve seen me there before even if months have passed. My daughter’s fiancé purchased her engagement ring there and the staff was so accommodating and patient, it was pleasurable to watch. There were follow-up telephone calls, personal attention, and a altruistic interest to ensure my daughter had a pleasant experience. A friend who is like a son to me went there to purchase a beautiful elaborate custom made engagement ring – I have never seen anything like it. Ray Bleser gave him and his bride extra special personal attention. I will never forget how Mr. Bleser treated this couple as if they were his own family! Kudos to a wonderful group of professionals; they obviously treat their store(s) as a home in which invited guests are welcomed each day with enthusiasm and shared bliss. I have now had two amazing interactions with the NEFJ team. Deb assisted me with finding the perfect engagement ring that I felt was one of a kind. She took as much time as was needed to assist me and supported me with the important decision of which ring to select. I never felt rushed to make a purchase or that she was persuading me into makeing a decision on which ring to pick. She also asked me a lot about my fiancé to help show options that she thought may fit her style. After finding the perfect engagement ring I made the decision to head back to NEFJ to purchase our wedding bands. Dennis was just as amazing as Deb was in supporting us with our choices. Dennis was very supportive with taking the time out of his day to help my fiancé and I find the perfect wedding bands. He identified our styles and showed a lot of rings that he thought might fight our personality the best. I’ve been a loyal customer of NEFJ since my engagement and recently visited the Albany store with two intentions. The first was to get a Mother’s Day gift for my wife from our girls. I brought the kids into the store with an open mind and the staff was extremely helpful. They took the time to understand my wife’s style and what she likes and then helped us explore our options. Their customer service and attention to detail was top notch during our visit and the expression on my wife’s face when she opened the gifts from the kids proved that they helped us make the perfect selection. To top it off, they even gave us flowers and a certificate to brunch.

The second intention was to help my mother re-size her fathers diamond ring that was handed down to her. This ring is very special to her and something she was reluctant to have leave her hands. She needed a place she could fully trust. Gregg and his staff put her at ease right away and made her feel very comfortable. They understood exactly what my mother wanted and needed and provided her with a great sense of security with her fathers precious ring.
