Via Roma Fashions Inc — Local services in Town of Guilderland

After buying a suit from Via Roma in Albany, NY I quickly discovered their very deceptive advertisements and trade practices. I have attempted via email to reach out to them for clarification on some of the advertising that was not accurate but after a week I received no return call or email.

Their return policy is or in my case was not disclosed which is No Returns. So think long and hard before purchasing.

The deal that is greatly advertised for buy 1 suit get 2 for free is completely inaccurate. Ever since I began going into Via Roma to look for a style for the past 8 months, all the suits have been marked the same price. For example, one suit was $159.99. So per the sale that has no exclusions or indications that there are stipulations to this sale you have to buy the suit for twice the listed price in order to get the other two for "free".

So 1 suit = $159.99 Buy one suit get "2" free = $320

Perhaps this was a misprint to say "Buy 2 get 1 Free" but a short time after my purchase, I have to say their customer service is non existent and advertising greatly deceptive.

This was a suit for my wedding. Hoping my experience would be better to have my groomsmen purchase their suits, I have since told them to avoid this small chain store and just look to rent or...

Paid for my sport jacket, left it with the tailor when I was on vacation in New York. I made it incredibly clear that I needed this jacket by the time I left for Florida where I live, and I was promised that it would be ready by that time. I did not get the call saying it was ready until roughly a week AFTER I came home. It has now been WEEKS since I came back home, the shop REFUSES to mail MY tailored jacket to me, and worst of all, they somehow expect me to go there on a whim and pick it up!?!?!? I AM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!! I HAVE A JOB!! I DESERVE EITHER A REFUND OR MY JACKET IN THE MAIL!!!

Worst of all, when I said that I live all the way across the country and that I have LITERALLY no way of getting there anymore because of how sluggish and inconsiderate they are about their customers’ needs, the shopkeeper asked, “So when can you pick it up?” THAT SHIP HAS SAILED!! MAIL ME...

Absolute WORST suites and experience! They were great until I swiped my card then they could care less. I had them altered 4 times and still wrong!!! Waste of time and money, NEVER spending another $1. Then they kept making me pay for alternations and said “best guy in town” what a joke. They never even measured me and now I have to take to a real professional for the 5th time. Don’t let them trick you, buy 2 get 1 free and I went to pick them up and they were all different sizes not what I picked out bc he didn’t have them in stock but wanted the sale. Then after you pay they treat you like GARBAGE! P.S Marshals has better quality Michel Kors suits for $130, much better quality and price!! This place needs to go down for fraud.
