As I literally live in this place. (I go almost every week) The ladies here know me and give me excellent services every-time I go. However today was a very upsetting day and left me genuinely in tears. As i’m not a hair stylist or know anything about dying hair. I occasionally dye my hair at home and never had a problem until today. I had told the ladies working, one of them being the store manager and the other just the worker. That I had wanted to go dark almost black. The store manager told me to go with bondbar in the color dark ash blonde, with level 10 developer. The other worker had told me to do a 2.1 ratio as that as what it calls on the box. She than gave me a list of things to use and things to do while dying. She seemed very confident and caring which left me with no concern feeling at all. Until I left and used EVERY step she told me. My roots came out blonde and the box DID NOT call for a 2.1 ratio. In tears as I blame myself for not reading the damn box I simply was upset that they had straight up lied to me just to get a sale. I went back very frustrated but very sweet and professional. They saw the damage and how worried I had been and they offered to give me a 10% discount on getting another color to fix the issue that they had recommended me. Unfortunately that doesn’t refund the $54 that I had spent earlier in the day with the information they swore by. Not only that they didn’t check the box, nor check with another co worker or anything too see if the information they were giving was correct they just upsaled me and took advantage of me.
