Alfredo's Construction II Corp — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Terrible service, I wish I could give zero stars to this company!!! My mother and I, hired Alfredo and his team in August of 2024 and paid him $5,400 dollars. He concreted my driveway, sidewalk, and the walkway leading up to our house. Immediately after he was done with the job, I noticed a large gap from the side of my house and my walkway. The gap was so large it caused my 74yr old mother to trip and fall; When I bring this to his attention, Alfredo informed me that “it was not his work, the concrete at the side of my house was just old.” In order to get him to come back and fix that gap, I had to inform him that he left a hazard outside of our home. He patched it, but 6 months later it’s cracking apart. Fast forward 6 months later, I noticed my driveway is also cracking apart, and my walkway and sidewalk are peeling and chipping away as you step on it. When I brought this to Alfredo’s attention, he informed me that it was “the salt from the city during the snow that caused the walkway and sidewalk to break and chip away;” and as for our driveway, he stated that it is cracking because I “drove a SUV on it.” He mislead me for over a month and half before refusing to fix the job. I informed him I will take him to court because of this and he responded “ he does not like how I am speaking to him and to take him to court. Someone will either lose or win. He doesn’t care.” Currently Alfredo is refusing to fix the job and now I am actively seeking the court for intervention. People, please be aware of contractors like this and do your full research first. I have posted pictures below.
