Let me just start by saying You Get What You Pay For! I’ve come to this shop before because their prices were more reasonable than other salons. This particular time I came I made an appointment and the morning of the lady calls me 15 mins before the appointment saying to running 10 mins late. No problem but she ended up showing up to the salon and starting my hair almost an hour after the set appointment time. Then had the nerve to ask if she can take another client when she comes in. Because I did not agreee to this she takes it upon herself to make my braids bigger than discussed so she can get through with my head and get to the client that she was talking about. I didn’t notice until she was at the top of my head and I was able to see. I then said something and she shrugged her shoulders like she didn’t care. So not only was you an hour late, You just did what you want at the end of the day. I did not get my hair the way that I plan to for my vacation so I was very disappointed and she doesn’t seem to care about that so I did not pay her the discussed amount because I did not get the service...

New customer willing to try a local business..walked in and told the first lady what I wanted (my natural hair braided no extension)..she sits me and another person starts to do my hair..i asked the 2nd person how much it would cost and she gave me a price..she does my hair and is fast and efficient (that's why they got some stars) but then the 1st lady (now identified as the owner) comes and tells me a much higher price!! Told her that was not what I was told when I sat..she basically decides to argue with me that I got a different style then what they normally do for the quoted price..said I never discussed price with her..as the business owner she did not discuss the price with me or the braider doing my hair..they just lost someone who would have returned many times, as I live in the area and looking for quality hair braiding and would refer my female friends and relatives...

I’m writing this review because I love this salon. I have been getting my hair braided here For quite some time, I usually take my daughters to get their hair braided as well but today I had to send my nanny with them since I had to work. Before going to work, I stopped into the salon to ask her pricing and she gave me a specific price when my daughter returned to the salon with their nanny She tried To charge her double the price. The owner eventually made things right and charged us the original quoted price, but I thought that was kind of shady of the stylist. I had no problem paying either price but I like honesty. Shout out to the owner for making things right!!! I will still continue to...
