I had been in knee pain for apprx a year and a half. I had knee surgery to repair 2 torn meniscus and that didn't help. My meniscus were repaired but the pain was still there. I was limping, using a cane, at one point in a wheelchair - all around not good. My friend called one day telling me about Dr Veltre. Said she had seen his procedure on Channel 12 News. So when she called me, the two of us decided that we would try it out because we were both in pain. I went into my first visit with Dr Veltre - hesitant but open minded. I had been to a couple of "expert" knee Dr's that basically told me "you have arthritis there's nothing to do about it, you'll have to learn to live with it". So my friend and I made our appts and went for our first visit. Well, the first visit my knee felt okay, not terrific, but certainly not bad. So my friend and I signed up for the good Dr's 8 week course of treatment. Somewhere around week 4 my knee started feeling pretty good. By the time I finished week eight I could actually walk out in my community for more than a few feet. I was able to go to Costco and shop without the feeling of either crying or throwing up from the pain. I actually went to and walked around Roosevelt Field to pick something up and I was feeling terrific !! The other day I walked around my community for a half mile (I clocked it) and I had a slight twinge but absolutely NOTHING like prior to going through the treatments that Dr Veltre is offering. Do I still have arthritis - yes. Am I learning to submit and live with the pain of arthritis like the other Dr's said I should do - no !! Dr. Joseph Veltre was amazing! Very experienced doctor, who knows what he is doing. He spent significant time discussing my situation and explained everything in detail.
