I am updating my review to say that where I am a huge CRUMBL cookie fan. My husband has his own app, just to buy them for me!! I am NOT a fan of the MERRICK location. Today is the last time I will buy from this location. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and received very little strawberry. I asked for it to just have as much as the display. I was nastily told that corporate allows them to give less. That cookie is almost 7.00. I just want what I paid for. The girl was EXTREMELY NASTY and RUDE. I wasn't rude with her, just asked for a bit more strawberry to match the display cookie. I WILL NEVER GIVE MY MONEY TO A STORE THAT TREATS CUSTOMERS LIKE SHE DID. I was a happy camper going in to collect my cookie and unhappy that I gave them my business leaving. PEOPLE GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION, where you are appreciated and get what you paid for. I am still waiting for a call back from store owner which was promised to come on January 30th, It is now February 5th.
I’ve had Crumbl cookies a few times and love them so much, I opened my own account! These cookies are delicious! Even the ones that aren’t my choice are still delicious, just not my preference. The first Crumble cookie I tasted was the Key Lime Pie. I would eat that cookie every day if I could! The graham cracker, the refreshing key lime filling and the added slice of lime to squeeze on top is just so decadent. Yesterday I had the trifle and it was absolutely incredible. Thankfully, it’s my birthday so I requested Crumbl gift cards! Great taste and great...
Read moreI see these cookies everywhere and hear people rave about them, so I bought some to see what’s the big fuss. There is none. I’m going to be very honest about this. It was a huge disappointment for me. At $5 per large cookie, it’s not very big. I could be paying the same amount for another very well-known cookie brand out there and it’s gigantic. Anyway, they say size doesn’t matter? Moving on… at that price point, I kind of expected them to warm it up, especially when it’s dead cold outside. I brought those cookies back to the car and wanted to take a bite, but they were ice cold!!! What a turn off! Back to the competitive cookie brand I mentioned earlier, theirs is freshly baked in-house and comes to your hand nice and warm; and at the very least room temp. Crumbl’s was straight from the fridge. My gosh. Imagine the disgust I felt. As for taste, I got the cranberry white chocolate and frozen hot chocolate cookies. The cranberry one was decent only after I heated it up when I got home. The frozen hot chocolate one was not tasty. Whatever glop they had on that cookie was reminiscent of cheap store-bought frosting. Safe to say I won’t...
Read moreCookies tasted good. Service was terrible. Nobody greeted when you walked in or explained that you are supposed to either order through the app or on the tablet in the store. One of the tablets is down so that holds up the line. If you’re paying in cash you have to wait for someone to come to the counter which they don’t do, even if you request assistance multiple times. Because I was paying in cash about 10 people where able to skip me in line resulting in me having to wait for another batch of cookies to be baked because of course the flavor I wanted sold out before I even had a chance to order. 30 minutes later I was finally handed my cookies in a TORN BOX which I had to ask to be replaced after dropping the cookies. The girl at the counter acted like I was inconveniencing her. Definitely not...
