I made an appointment online and completed the vaccine paperwork prior to coming in, only to be told that I still have to wait on the long line. By the time I reached the front, the lady at the desk who processed my paperwork asked me “how old are you?!” as she held my driver’s license (The proper way to ask a patient is ‘can you confirm your DOB?’) What made matters worse, the lady had no idea how NY Medicaid works. She talked down at me and stated several times “Medicaid is not insurance, it’s only a benefits card”. But she’s wrong! Fun fact: yes, you can see doctors & receive prescriptions with Medicaid. Used their UPS service: my ski boots ( from Amazon)were left there for a pick up. At first I was told that the box is not there, then they found it.
