I scheduled an appointment with this store after I read up on Apple Watch battery replacement on the apple website. I also clicked the estimate repair cost which said it ranges from $79-$99. According to my watch, my battery required service and it was functioning at 79%. I arrived to this establishment and met with a man, I explained to him what was going on with my watch. He told me I had to check in. He sent a link to my phone and when I opened it, it was a waiver. The waiver had two options, I asked what if I don't agree with the first one to replace the watch. He said I had to. He then said the Apple doesn't replace batteries they will only replace the watch. I advised him that the website says that that they do battery replacement. He then told me it's $149 to replace it and if they can't they'll just replace the watch for $460. I asked him "didn't you just say that they don't replace batteries?". I then asked why is it $149, if Apple says $79-$99. He said thats what Apple told him. He then conducted a diagnostic test. I asked him how much would it cost, I had read a few google reviews about "his" diagnostic test. He told me $19, I agreed, thinking he would tell me something other than what I had already known. After the test was conducted, he told me that my battery failed & it is functioning at 79%. I said wait a minute, you told me the exact thing that I had just told you. So he told me that I didn't need to pay for his test. I kindly declined service from the store and made an appointment at Apple. I went to Apple today, and lo and behold the battery replacement is $99. I told the apple employee about my experience and he said "let me guess it was Kangaroo Mobile, we've gotten a few complaints about their stores."...

I texted hours later to see if they were open because they had not called me back and they did responded via text and lied to me saying they called me twice, they did not, in this age of communication you literally can’t lie about that. Haven’t been able to get my machine back yet to see if the work they did was even effective. There are other companies in the area that I’m assuming don’t lie to you to make themselves look less unprofessional, try them. However they didn’t have the piece, no big deal…they had to order it even tho I pay for apple care+ monthly i still had to pay UPFRONT!! No problem. We ordered the part and gave me an estimated date that was within 2-3 business days. It has been 18 days, I’m still waiting for it. It seems like I got scammed with my money and the Mobil repair frenzy took advantage of me. Every day I have to follow up with them and if I don’t they will not follow up with me.
