What we liked: - CLEAN - floors and countertops were immaculate. Employees wore gloves while serving. We did not use the bathroom. - STAFF - the woman that served us was very friendly. She answered all of our questions and even gave some samples. - FAMILY FRIENDLY - I brought my 4 kids, one of which is 18 months old and we were treated well. Neutral: - QUALITY - the product is definitely above average. The coconut gelato was really good. Unexpectedly so. Other flavors were as expected. For soft serve the matcha and ube were not great. I'm very familiar with both flavors. The taro however was perfect. Excellent balance of sweetness, good texture. What could be improved: - SERVING SIZE - we were shown the small and large sizes, and then were told "both are one scoop". So then I asked for clarification, why the containers were different sizes. "One scoop is bigger than the other." Lol. I don't know what to say here. If you (the owner) picked a size that you deemed large, and set a price that I agreed to pay, please fill it up. Living on Long Island we've grown accustomed to hospitality from restaurants, especially dessert places. I think there should not need to be an explanation attached to the product quantity beyond "regular vs large." - VALUE - sort of the culmination of the quality and serving size attached to the price. I felt like it was expensive for "what you get." We actively seek out good dessert places. I feel like for the price, the quality should be way above similar options. Or at the very least, fill the cup sizes that you offer.

The ice cream shop itself is cute, however, the matcha soft serve was WAYYY too sweet. I couldn’t finish the whole thing, I had to throw it out. My partner got the passion fruit sorbet; I found it strange that they had to go to the back to get it? I was looking forward to coming here because of TikTok, but it was over hyped & over priced. $20 for ice-cream is insane (they charge $1 extra for cup btw) Updated review: The owner’s response was disappointing instead of addressing the actual feedback, it came off as passive & defensive. Suggesting that two separate 2 star reviews from my partner & me somehow diminish our experience is unnecessary and unprofessional. We each ordered different items, had different reactions, and both were let down. Simple. I stand by my original review and hope they take feedback more seriously in the future. It’s 8/5/25. I guess they deleted their response after my updated review?! Please read their response below for reference. “I'm sorry you and your husband both had such a bad experience that you both left a 2 star. Our matcha soft serve isn't sweet at all, it's actually very strong and tastes exactly like green tea. Which is actually our most popular soft serve flavor. We sell a really big cup of soft serve which most people can't finish. We sell our cones for $9 and soft serve cups for $10. When it comes to flavors like matcha, taro & Ube it's a bit more expensive because of the flavor & how hard it is to source. We aim for quality so we use real ingredients. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your moneys worth.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding! A Hidden Gem in Lynbrook! Robbins Creamery is hands down one of the BEST dessert spots I’ve ever been to — and I don’t say that lightly. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly energy that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. But let’s talk about the real star — the ice cream! Every scoop is rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. You can tell it’s made with quality ingredients and love. Their variety is unmatched — whether you’re craving a classic or something unique, they have something that will hit the spot. The toppings are fresh, the presentation is beautiful, and everything tastes even better than it looks. Beyond the ice cream, the space is super clean, cute, and welcoming — perfect for families, dates, or even a solo sweet treat moment. Robbins Creamery is the type of place that makes you want to come back the next day. It’s more than just dessert — it’s an experience. I’m so glad to have found this gem in Lynbrook.

One of the best dessert spots I’ve been to — hands down.

Robin’s Creamery in Lynbrook is way more than just an ice cream shop. The vibe inside is super welcoming and aesthetic, it’s clear they’ve put a lot of love into both the look and the experience.

I tried the matcha taro swirl and the ube boba gelato and wow. You can taste the quality. It’s rich, creamy, and honestly just hits different. You can tell this isn’t mass-produced stuff. Everything was fresh and full of flavor, and it’s all halal-friendly, which is a huge plus.

The staff were amazing really kind and knowledgeable!!!! You could tell they actually care about what they’re serving and the customers walking in. That kind of energy makes a place feel special.

On top of that, they’ve got all the options: dine-in, takeout, delivery, even curbside. The place is super inclusive and accessible family-friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly, and yep, dogs and cats are welcome as well I love that detail lol .

Long story short: if you’re craving something sweet and unique, skip the chains this is the spot. You don’t need to hop on a plane to find luxury dessert. It’s right here on Sunrise Highway.

I’ll definitely be...
