Bianca needs a new job. She needs to be retrained on how she speaks to customers. I’ve been coming to this pharmacy longer than she’s been employed for this pharmacy. She was rude, condescending and too nonchalant. She had me repeat myself over 6 times. The same ID number over and over and asking was I sure as if I wasn’t reading the numbers to her properly. After 36 minutes of back and forth on hold and answering the same questions for her, of course I’m going to be upset so I admit yelling but this was after 36 minutes of no results!!! I was then asked to call my insurance to obtain a number that I had already read off to her. So of course I’m even more upset because I’m confused as to why she was given such a hard time. I call back the pharmacy AGAIN & it’s the same dead tone voice Bianca again. She asks for the same ID again! Literally felt like she was purposely doing it. At this point I start driving to the pharmacy as I’m less than 5 mins and my child needed the medication. I get there and without seeing name tags (which no one had on) I could already tell who she was. Her face and voice all went together. Heartless and obnoxious. So disappointing that companies are hiring people because of a piece of paper and not because they have the skill sets to work with other people and/customer service, being in a field they want to be in and not a field they were forced into by life. Clearly Bianca is in the...
Read moreWorst customer service ever. There were five women in the pharmacy but nobody would answer the phone that rang off the hook. I actually tried calling three times before going in person, but I was put on hold by a woman who then never picked up the phone again at which time I was disconnected. I wasted 45 minutes on the phone before going into the location in person where I again got no satisfaction whatsoever. I stood in line for 20 minutes watching nothing happen, then I stood in front of what looked like a high-school-aged woman for 22 minutes, who couldn’t seem to make anything happen again to help me. All this while the lineup behind me grew to about 15 people in line behind me. At which time she and had to call for help from a supervisor. The Best was then when she told me that she couldn’t transfer a medication that was waiting to be picked up at a different Walgreens because the doctors’ name in HER system didn’t show up, and wouldn’t call the other store to find out what the correct doctors’ name was. She told me that I had to call to get a NEW prescription from the doctor because she couldn’t find the doctors name in the system. Again… She wouldn’t contact the other store to find out what doctor they had for me in the system. At this point, I walked away telling her to disregard everything. I will go to a different Walgreens. I will never use this...
Read moreI feel compelled to add my experience and share my opinion of this location. Don’t know if this is the culture of all Walgreens, this one is terrible. I’ve been to the pharmacy a few times, my husband several times, the same disrespect for our time. Wait is always long and no one cares. I will no longer shop there for anything including prescriptions. It needs to close. Not serving the people of Elmont.
11/20/2024. Again, the staff in the pharmacy have proven to be unprofessional, dishonest , and undeserving of a position with this company, specifically Monte. I’ve used Walgreens on Hempstead Turnpike and that in Franklin Square and nothing of this kind. No, I no longer use this location. I called the location on Hempstead Turnpike and the call was rerouted to Dutch Broadway. Monte was rude and told me I had to come in to get the answers to my question. I then called back and asked not to be transferred to that location. The staff at Hempstead Turnpike answered all my questions. Management needs to get rid of Monte and all that are like her, please . Consumers...
