HALAL BROS KABAB GRILL — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The food was alright. We ordered mix gyros. They were average and tasted okay. We also ordered 12 Honey BBQ wings and they were NOT fresh at all. They were extremely dry with a rock-like texture. We could not chew the wings. We ordered our food through Uber Eats pickup in the restaurant. When we inquired about our order upon arriving, the employee at the front seemed disinterested. Had to speak up twice to ask when our order would be ready and in this process we were patient since we understand that our order can take some time. However, the man proceeds to put his hands up instead of communicating with his words, which left us even more confused. When asking whether our gyros had sauce or whether we can get some extra sauce, he asks the employees working on our food, “Did you guys put sauce in the gyros?” It was good that he asked but it just seemed like they didn’t really care about the customers food. Overall, the food is okay but I wouldn’t recommend. Only tried this place because it’s HMS certified and one of the only certified places...

We ordered jerk chicken combo,mix over rice and capli kabab.rice was lil warm,tasteless,hard.mix over rice amount and meat portio was very poor(around one table spoon),they don’t even gave us French fries and pita.when I paid I ask the cashier he was distracted or look line doesn’t understand English.even he was talking with someone with his ear pods on.i paid $42 after that then I figure out l.they serving mix over rice with decent amount meat rice and fries.l to other customers.I asked to cashier he act Surprised and told me-I have to ask for it.i was not served my order properly and they are accused me.I have pick up my stuff from hone depot that’s y I didn’t ask for refund .check your camera around 7:30pm you will figure out everything.even they doesn’t...

Wow I just want to say this is my favorite Halal food place I have been to in NY. The service is amazing, and I love how the staff is extremely friendly. I had ordered a chicken and rice w/ salad and pita topped with white sauce and bbq sauce. What i felt set the difference to the other ones I tried was the flavor of the chicken. You can tell that the chicken was fresh and not chicken that has been reheated a bunch of times. The chicken had a nice smokey taste to it which was not overpowered by spices. I will tell you I have many places closer to me but I am definitely traveling to come here! I want to try some of the other stuff they have to offer! Definitely have to give...
