American Legion — Local services in Town of Islip

I have been inside here several times to get some food and have a drink. This post is a small town post, but has plenty of tables and bar seating inside. They are similar to most other legions around the country.

They offer special meals on certain days and times, and hold fundraising events once or twice a year. They also have a branch of Harley riders associated with this legion that get together and ride for fun events as well as funerals if needed.

Their prices are low and their drinks are made strong. This is a good place to come if you don't want the typical bar atmosphere. I believe they hold member meetings once a month. They are a great addition to any community, including this unit in this small town. I recommend and support this...

Venue its a nice, spacious place! Price its ok, but Kenny the owner/manager is a pain in the but he will not let you make your own choices he will tell you i want thisand this.
