Furniture arrived as was well packed in a crate. Instructions were serviceable. Basically Ikea style construction with cam locks and dowels.

My basic issue is with where they cut corners. Lower cabinets have arms that don't keep the door from slamming open when opening. They also don't fit correctly. Pilot holes were not drilled for the sunken door hinges on one style, but were there on another. This feels like designs were updated between these sets and even within them.

Mounting hardware was difficult to use and very flimsy. The rails that mount to the walls can be bent by the weight of the unit (ask me how I know). Just mounting can be difficult as you can have up to 4 mount points that are blind (took me 6 or 7 attempts to get it right for 1 of the units).

I had 2 defective parts. One of the walls wasn't finished in that holes on one side were not drilled. Fortunately, I was able to fix that with a drill press. Another part was one of the wall hanger attachment mechanisms. It wouldn't tighten correctly. Now, customer service was friendly and attentive and said that they would send out the part the next day. They created a label. After a few days checking the status, I contacted them and they said by the end of the day. Another couple of days passed and it finally shipped (they also created 5 more mystery labels at the same time but nothing shipped). I did get the part quickly, same part, but different color.

In my kit there are 2 sizes of floating cabinets. They are have inconsistencies in little things, as noted earlier. They do match, however. The gas struts on the top are great. Sliders on the bottom doors are a joke. Stickers to cover cam locks with one, plastic inserts on the other. Predrilled holes to align cabinet hinges on one, not the other. Two different designs of hanger mechanisms.

They both have little door extenders (push in and they spring out the door), that are okay. I've thought about just going to Ikea and getting a set of theirs, as they seem to be better quality and are adjustable.

Along with my kit are two small decorative shelves. These are simple and look very nice. But the wall mount mechanism is horrible. Basically two anchored screws that are actually an "L". These can easily be knocked from straight up and down, so nothing to grab onto. They also don't sit flat against the wall, as little plastic covers for screws across the middle make it tilt down a little.

Also, there are no wire management holes in the unit. That's okay, but if you need them, you will have to make them yourself.

It has a nice faux grain to the laminate. The laminate seems sturdy enough, but you can easily chip the edges on textured drywall when mounting it.

With all of that being said, these units look very nice (saved it from a lower score, as did the quick responses...

I hate leaving negative reviews but honestly I would give this company a 0 if it were an option. We recently bought a house and I wanted all new furniture in our living room. I was amazed by the beautiful photos on this website. The led lights are what really caught my eye! I refused to buy a entertainment shelf from any place but this website!! The good news is I had no issues ordering it and the delivery was really timely. However, once it was delivered it was a downhill spiral from there. Upon delivery, I discover one of the shelves to the entertainment shelf was cracked all the way down the middle. (Upsetting but to be expected) I couldn’t get in touch with anyone over the phone but they sent me an auto email stating I should fill out a missing/broken piece from (assuming these types of things happen often) i wasn’t too happy that I couldn’t speak with a live person but still did not complain. Long story short I submitted everything on the form accurately, copying exactly what I saw from the website yet it still took three different delivers because they sent out the wrong piece or the wrong color. Finally after, assuming I have everything I need to hang it up, I reach out to my contractor guy to assemble and mount it for me only to find out the two slabs that go to the back were completely missing from the original order!! Which means I had to go back and fill out the form, wait another week for it to get delivered!! Then call my guy to finish the job... and the worst part of it all is that I’m not complete in love with the finished part.... it’s simply OK. it’s not making the statement in my living that I thought it would per the pics online and other customers reviews. Unfortunately, I feel like it would be more of a hassle for me to try to return than to just take my loss and keep the thing. I honestly hope someone sees this because this was my first time and definitely my last time ordering from this company.
