One word- INCREDIBLE! The Fit Factory is an absolutely magical place. I have been doing pole for 8 years, so I've had the opportunity to try out many different studios, and this place is hands-down THE BEST for so many reasons. Number one, the studio itself. It's huge, with 3 separate, spacious rooms devoted to different aerial arts, plus a locker room area, gorgeous lobby, and 2 bathrooms. The ceilings are (I think) about 18 feet high (a full 2-stories) a yes, the poles are that tall too!!! The poles are professional Lupit brand and they are by far the best poles I've ever used- permanently mounted and perfectly fluid spin that goes for days! And the aesthetics of the place are stunning... colored lighting, natural light, mirrors, beautiful floors, exposed industrial ceiling...check out my IG videos to see how gorgeous this place is (@judy_blu_eyez). And then there's the people. The owner Krystle is a magical soul who is so helpful, creative, accommodating, and dedicated to her studio and her clients. Every instructor is well qualified (many are professional performers themselves), so sweet & encouraging, and will absolutely help you up your game and get REALLY good at this stuff! And your classmates will become some of your favorite people. The vibe is supportive and fun and everyone makes you feel welcome and cheers you on every step of the way. Don't worry if you're not in shape, older, don't feel like your strong enough... we all start there. I started at age 43 and now at age 51 I'm in the best shape of my life. Come to the Fit Factory!!!! Give pole, lyra, silks, dance, etc a try and I promise you won't regret it....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been going to this studio regularly for a while (several months to a year) and noticed that they started slowly over-booking, and 2-3 folks in my class would have to share a pole (we don't wear a lot of clothing because we need friction in order to stay on the pole...) I felt uncomfortable about doing that for an hour straight, considering the fact that we're in a pandemic. I figured that if I voiced that I was uncomfortable, they'd adjust accordingly and only have the folks that are comfortable with it sharing.
I come to class one day and it's totally packed, so I would have to ask someone to share their pole with me. I told the office about how I felt and they said that there wasn't anything they could do and that they would still have to charge me for the class. I said alright and left. Called a few days later to see if anyone could help me, the girl on the phone was covering for the manager and cut me off when I was explaining the situation, saying that it was fair because they announced it online (never saw or heard any announcement about everyone having to share, but alright), that they had been doing this for a while, etc. It was a little aggressive, but fine, one lost class isn't going to kill me. I asked if I could possibly get a refund on the rest of my classes (over $200 worth of classes), and it was a no. She suggested I buy some merch with the classes (?!?!) or go to other types of classes (not pole) or take private pole lessons (way more expensive) at the studio. Kind of ruined the experience for me, I really enjoyed it before all of this and I did not feel valued as a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been in the pole world for a little over 3 years now and in that time have had the pleasure of going to multiple studios, the Fit Factory holds a special place in my heart for their caring, open atmosphere, and way to inspire both personally and for the craft.
I just wanted to say, the owner Krystle really does care greatly about the experience here, as do the staff. It's definitely been part of the push (one that has been in the works for some time, not because of these reviews) for them to expand to a larger space.. which they will be this summer! And then pole sharing and etc will be less of a concern. Any way, it wouldn't be possible if the owner and staff weren't so conscientious and protective of keeping a safe, fun, and safe atmosphere here.
Anyone hesitant or conflicted by what's been said should still give this studio a try. Many students that have can tell you this studio changed and improved their life and health for the better...
