I shop at your store in Bay Shore and spend hundreds of dollars every week. I try to buy anything that has go points attached to them. I can't tell you how many times f
or some reason they do not show up on my receipt and I have to go to customer service to have it corrected. Sometimes I have to go thru my shopping cart to show that I've bought what I've said I did to get my points. It is very aggrevating to say the least.
Today was my worst experience ever. I purposely bought the require amount to get the 500 points but it did not show up on my receipt. I then went to customer service & spoke to the women there who was very rude and wanted to talk over me when I tried explaining. She called over someone else and was telling her that all my extra points added to 500 and when I tried to tell her that this was an extra 500 points and she told me she wasn't talking to me. I told her that is not the way to speak to a customer. The person she was speaking to (a manager?) explained to her what I was trying to say that the points are listed separately. This woman did give me the points.
Obviously there is something wrong that the register does not recognize when you purchase the dollar amount called for but it is different items. Also the customer service in Bay Shore at least they do not seem to know how the go points work and the customer has to be diligent about checking their receipt.
This happens often but what really got me today was the customer service person's rudeness for no reason, just because I was questioning something your store promotes. As I said I shop there weekly especially for the points. I could shop in another store that has better prices and...

Not even close to being under 21. I was at self checkout with 10 items and 2 12pks of white claw. You must show proof of age to buy alcohol. I get it. Well last night I only grabbed my debit card when I ran out. It was pouring rain and I didn't want to grab my whole pocketbook. When I scanned the white claw it wouldn't process without my birthdate. The employee LOOKS at your license and enters your birthdate. She DOES NOT need the physical license. I explained I did not have any ID on me and I was well over 21. The employee who was African American with glasses said she don't "roll like that " and wouldn't let me finish the transaction without ID. ARE YOU KIDDING??? IM 59. So I left the order and went home. I wasn't coming back. I know it's a rule but seriously? Other employees have bypassed it. She was just a ball breaker. ### 2 weeks after this review I watched another customer FLIP OUT on the same employee for the same exact issue and they called the police on her because she was causing a scene and wasn't leaving without her alcohol. The employee working that area was no help at all, she said it takes 2 or 3 hrs for the coupon to work, I never heard of such a response. Usually the digital coupons work right away as soon as you down load them. People download them right in the store all the time.. What was I suppose to do stand there for 2 or 3 hrs. I asked for a supervisor she never got one. I left my older children at the register went to customer service to ask for a supervisor. He came Steve, told me to ring it up that way with the wrong price and customer service will fix it. I simply said are you sure because I don't want it to be any problems. I was thinking to myself he would just go over to the register and manually put in the discount , honestly the employee should have been able to do that. His response was very sarcastically shrugging his shoulders and everything "I just told you that" he was very rude. People don't know what other people are going through treat people how you want to be treated. I really didn't need that rudeness from him or the incompetence of the employee. I just lost my mother.
