Visited this outlet today to perform a return for an online item to receive store credit. I was treated very nicely by the one lady at the door, however, once I reached the cash register, the cashier was unprofessional, rude, and very off putting. I understand that it is hard to work during the holidays, but her attitude was unnecessary and I felt very uncomfortable. She told me flat out (very nastily, I might add,) that I could not return the item and that just because items are ELGIBLE for a return, it does not mean that it's guaranteed. I have shopped at Michael Kors for years and I had never heard of this policy. I called the consultants on the phone and they processed another return slip for me, but she said that the transaction could not be found. I called the consultant again and he explained that because the outlet did not carry the item, that I could not return it to the store as they cannot resell it at their store. This was all the young lady had to tell me. I am an older lady and I do not deserve to be disrespected by a young lady with the tenacity to display her age, a 1998 tattoo on her hand. She also SNATCHED the wallet from me and when I looked up at her in surprise she just stared at me. I told her that I understand that it's hard (ie. working during the holidays,) but don't ever snatch from me again. She said, "ok," but did not even give me an apology. She was rude, did not even understand the policy and does not deserve to work in customer service. I invest ALOT of money into Michael Kors as a VIP and I am appalled at the lack of customer service or friendliness. You don't want to work in customer service, that's your business, but don't make everyone else miserable with you and definitely do not ruin the idea and experience of Michael Kors.
