Disappointing Experience – Misleading and Unhygienic
We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Niagara Falls, expecting a great experience based on the website and location. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite.
✅ The only positive: Their website and in-store displays show beautiful pictures of the food—it all looks delicious online and on the walls. Sadly, the reality doesn’t match.
❌ Major issues we faced: • The restaurant is a tiny space inside a mall, partially shared with an Indian clothing boutique. • Not wheelchair accessible, and no diaper changing area, making it very inconvenient for families. • We were not greeted or attended to when we arrived. I joined my group 12 minutes later and still didn’t receive a plate, spoon, napkin, or water. No one checked on us throughout the meal. • The owner seemed more invested in the boutique than the restaurant and never asked if we needed anything. • All the food was frozen—naan, samosas, roti, snacks—and reheated with poor presentation. • Everything was overly salty, making it hard to enjoy. • The mango lassi had artificial yellow coloring. • Raita made from old sour yogurt was priced at $11—definitely a health concern. • Soda cost $7—way overpriced for a basic can. • No cutlery, glasses for water, or napkins were served at last I got up and picked qtr plates and spoon available from counter • Mosquitoes inside the restaurant led to itching complaints from our kids on the drive back. • After paying, my spouse accidentally tipped, and the owner’s reaction felt like she knew she had just tricked us with overpriced, frozen food.
🚫 Overall, the place is misleading, overpriced, poorly managed, and lacking in basic hospitality and hygiene. Not recommended, especially for families or those with...
Read moreWe were on our way to Niagara Falls and stopped here to grab something to eat. The people were so respectful and kind, and the food was incredible. The dal makhani was full of flavor, and the goat curry was one of the best I’ve ever had. The goat was super tender and cooked perfectly.
Their samosas tasted homemade and were packed with flavor. The laccha paratha was fresh, soft, and went perfectly with the curries.
The food here is very authentic Indian food, just like you’d get at home. You can really tell they put care into every dish.
The owners were super warm and welcoming. They even gave us free kheer, which was such a nice surprise and really delicious.
Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Great food and even...
Read moreAs someone who lived in India, I can say this is the best I have had in a very long time! The owners are Punjabi, so the food is delicaely spiced, and plesantly aromatic. Our selections, a Kofti and a chicken Vindaloo arrived at the table piping hot and beautifully garnished. The garlic naan was freshly made and well balanced. My wife enjoyed her mango juice as well. The sign on the building housing the restaurant is gold on tan, so it is difficult to see from the mall parking lot. Aside that the place was clean and bright. No beer or wine, but definitely a gret place for lunch or dinner if you enjoy authentic North...
