Kiltmakers Apprentice — Local services in Town of Lloyd

Was in lower state ny for thanksgiving 2019. My brother, (the groom) was seriously tossing around the idea of celebrating our heritage by wearing kilt to his wedding, and having the groomsmen wear them as well. Like my father and our fathers before him, he wanted to scrap the tux and get a kilt. He lives in California, the wedding is in North Carolina and the rest of us are in Massachusetts, so getting together today was somewhat of a big deal. We drove over an hour to get to the store, and hands down it was the best service we have had dealing with kilts. The owner stayed over an hour late helping us all try on different styles and figuring out what he/we wanted to do. It has been over a year that I went to Highland, NY, to have a looksie. A new piper I was, and in need of a kilt. Ebay and Amazon just didn't do it and I wanted something original. First visit we were early but we (my wife in tow) were greeted warmly. Long story, I purchased a hand made kilt and learned how to wear it.
