“The Rug Store” located in Monroe, NY gets a Gigantic 10 Star Review from us! We first went into the store and we were greeted by Hershy, who was truly an exceptional and kind person. He was both professional and knowledgeable. We were looking for a floor in our family room and he gave us information on all different wood/laminate products. He also gave us several samples to take home, to ensure it was what we wanted. Never once did Hershy ask for a deposit to take home the many flooring samples. This was very refreshing since they were dealing with us as first-time clients. Once we decided on the product Hershy himself then came out to our home to measure and advise us once again. We then ordered the product and Hershy scheduled the installers in record time. Our floor was not only ordered but also installed in one-week time. Hershy sent Frank and his helper to install our floor which they took great care in doing so. Frank, like Hershy, was extremely knowledgably and mapped out the floor installation to perfection! They also cleaned up and there was no mess or debris left for us take care of. Once our floor was installed we had many complements on the truly professionalism and care that the installers had shown not only on the floor installation but also to our newly renovated family room, which was greatly appreciated.

We then went back to the store and met Hershy’s Father Moses, and it was easy to discover why Hershy was such a friendly, kind and caring individual. We returned to the store to purchase an area rug. Hershy again spent time with us to discuss proper size and quality of the rug. He also allowed us take various rugs home to see if we liked the color, size and workmanship and never once asked us for money. What a great and refreshing experience to shop at a store where the owner gives you personalized attention, comes to your home and really cares about their client. It was getting closer to Thanksgiving and I really wanted the guest room ready for my son, daughter-in-law and baby grandson. I shopped all over Orange County looking for carpet. I was very frustrated to say the least. Had trouble finding the right carpet. My other concern, especially with the big corporate stores was, that you just don't know who they are sending out to your home to install the carpet. Another thing I came across with them was the people that work in the flooring departments lack knowledge about carpeting. Most of the time there isn't even anyone to help you. The first time I visited The Rug Store, Hershel impressed me with his introduction, knowledge and concern with our deadline. I came back to the store with my husband. He made it so easy. He guided us to pick the perfect carpet. Love the quality, the color and the price. Hershel came to my home to measure the room. It was installed two days before the holiday by two of the most professional, polite, neat and obviously very experienced installers. My experience with The Rug Store is unforgettable, so much so that I was back there again the other day. This time shopping with my daughter. Again, Hershel makes it so easy. The Rug Store is the place for finding the right carpet, floor, or rug. Their customer service is outstanding! My wife and I walked in and we were asked to describe what we wanted and through this processes were we guided, not pressured, to the carper that we purchased. Moses, our 'rug guide' showed us a selection in his showroom that hit the mark in a matter of a few viewings. What I liked the most, Moses listened and talked with us about what we wanted and not about what he wanted. We got what we wanted!!!! When is came time to order the carpet, he called the manufacturer to get an approximate time and Moses contacted us to let us know when it arrived. Moses also delivered the rug to our house in Kinston, NY, about 50 minutes, without any delivery fees. He than laid out the rug with the anti-slip padding, which we purchased with the rug, where we wanted and helped move the furniture back to where we had it.

We are planning to buy several other rugs and runners as soon as our renovations are completed from The Rug Store.
