Had an absolutely terrible interaction with this pharmacy yesterday. My daughter needed an antibiotic that proved hard to find. They originally told me they did not have it. After I called around and found a pharmacy that did have the medicine in stock I called back and kindly requested that they transfer the prescription. The pharmacist first corrected me that she had partially filled the prescription already. When I stated I wasn’t aware of that she said I must not have been listening to her and asked “is the amount we have not good enough”. Yes, there was an abundance of attitude and rudeness in her voice. I then asked again for her to please transfer the prescription to a pharmacy that did have the full amount and she flat out refused. She told me she was too busy with vaccinations to waste her time on the phone. She demanded that either the other pharmacy call her or that the doctor just write out a new prescription. The other 3 pharmacies I talked to this day were more than happy transfer the prescription. To me her behavior and attitude was rude and unacceptable, my daughter needed a medication ASAP due to a severe infection. I really do think people waiting for an optional vaccine would have been understanding. Fast forward I finally get the other pharmacy to fill the prescription and for some reason my insurance isn’t going through even though I had already called ahead to make sure it was covered. Turns out this Walgreens billed my insurance for the partial fill that I never asked for and never picked up. It took another 3 phones calls to get them to please reverse the claim so the other pharmacy could receive the reimbursement. Meanwhile I am trying to entertain/comfort my sick child at the counter of the other pharmacy. Again I was told how busy they were due to vaccinations. Overall this pharmacy delayed my child receiving a necessary medication for 3+ Hours because they didn’t want to do their job. This is an unacceptable level of care and unacceptable treatment...
Read moreI have been a walgreens client for years. Once they closed the shoprite location everything went to hell. I have had my prescription held hostage dealt with rudeness from the pharmacist himself. I was told a prescription was ready when I called only to find out it was never ordered. I called corporate and was supposed to hear from a regional manager. Big surprise no one called me. When I called today to make sure my medication came in I was yelled at by one of the workers. I never leave bad reviews but this place is awful. Obviously I am now a cvs customer and will NEVER return to...
Read moreSide note: I personally don't use Walgreens but figured Id write this review. Went here on Tuesday September 16th 2024 with my dad to check on his prescription because he had received a phone call about something related to his prescription. It was more test strips and a machine, but the machine wasn't ready yet. But the pharmacist was very nice and friendly and answered his questions. Friendliness is what matters I think! Putting it this way, not sure if my insurance can accept Walgreens but I would go there myself for the friendly service, especially if one...
