The only reason that we purchased the car from Metro is because they had the vehicle that we were looking for. I have previously purchased from Metro as well which was a good experience. This will be my last purchase from them. On the first day we visited Metro, Jennifer the sales person was sitting at the front desk and asked if we needed assistance which we did and she began to help us. She had an appointment 20 minuets later with another client and left us to help them leaving us at another desk. She bounced back and forth between them and us and then left to test drive a vehicle with the other client while we were in the middle of discussing the car we were interested in. We asked for her best offer and then we decided to think on it and then she left again to talk with the guy behind the glass and came back out with a respectable offer. She called to apologize the next day for her behavior. The next time we went in for signing paperwork and she was very rude and was less than helpful. She asked us to move when she was done with us and then demanded that we move because she was “out”. She said she stayed late “for us” and has a long drive home. She said you guys can sit in the lounge until JT or TJ (Finance) is ready for us. She then sat at her desk waiting for the paperwork to be signed. Approximately 15 minutes later, Finance was ready for us (I believe his name is JT.) he had a light up desk top that we reviewed. The first document that we reviewed, he said, “sign there Kev”. When I asked what it was I was signing he flung he finger across the screen skipping 3-4 pages and said very defensively, “it’s an electronic acknowledgement, just sign.” As we reviewed the documents he was very upset that we wanted to review the documents and then was more upset when we got the form about what they owe us and my wife said a second key, he became irritated and complained to us that Jennifer never mentioned that and was angry that he had to refill out the electronic form writing 1 key on the form. Overall the folks at Metro are unprofessional and less than adequate dealership employees considering every client that walks through the door is looking to spend thousands on a...
Read moreI should have known better since I have had bad experiences there in the past ... But, I still walked thru the door to try for a new lease ... For at least 6 weeks, the sales individual had been calling here to say lease will be epiring soon, what can we do for you to get you in a new lease with us ... We stated during those calls that we had X amount of money to put down and want to stick to around X dollar amount monthly - individual said they were putting this information in our file - what a joke that was. When expiration date approached we setup an appointment to meet with a sales individual ... At the meeting, we had to reiterate everything we had told them on the phone calls that was 'supposedly' put in our file ... They sat at the PC and keyed in some info and came back with a price that was $40 over the dollar amount we just said we wanted to spend on a basic no frills model - of course their next line is "let me see what I can do" - they went and chatted with someone ... when they came back with 1st option of $60 over monthly spend (no idea how that was doing ANYTHING for us and how in the world was $20 added to the original price quoted) and 2nd option was $2 short of $100 over monthly spend we were totally upset - back they go to see what they can do for us - the sales individual came back 2nd time and stated there was nothing that they could do to get us into a vehicle ... We promptly walked out ... I proceeded to call a different dealership when I got home and we walked out with a 2019 vehicle that has lane assist, push start, heated seats, moon roof and an app for the phone for remote start - all this for only $9 more than what we wanted to spend ...
P.S. Our 1 star is only for Sales staff -- we have had no issue with the Service staff at Metro and have enjoyed working with them over the life of the lease - they would get...
Read moreI have had the experience, on now our 4th purchase through Metro Ford, and all of them have been pleasant. Only one mistake was made during the paperwork on one deal placing the wrong name first on the purchase but has since been cleared up. So as far as the history....Joe Rustica has been our salesman for ALL of our transactions and has been one of the most energetic and polite sales person I have ever met! By the way, I am a salesman, also, not a car salesman, but aftermarket automotive market sales as well. Joe is just a pleasure to deal with, and my last purchase in September of 2014 was a 2013 Ford Explorer Sport with 26 thousand miles. I absolutely loved this truck! However I was involved in what should have been a fatal accident in February of 2015 with that same truck on my way home from an out of town meeting. I was traveling at highway speed with cruise control set and hit the rear of an unlit tractor trailer. The damage was catastrophic to my truck and the speed of the trailer truck was never verified nor if the lights were working correctly. Most importantly, the Explorer saved my life!! Joe was so upset when he saw me come back in as I was still showing the damage of the accident, but was there for me when I came back to replace my Explorer, as a friend more so then a salesman. The 2015 I purchased, has even more safety features then the last one to help eliminate the "invisible" dangers....... I thank the higher power above and the friends I have here for making this review even possible. My experience with the Sales, Finance, and even the parts department for my 2013 manuals, were all very good to excellent! The Dariano Family has built a great team...I look forward to my next experience at Metro, even if its only...
