Mohawk Commons — Local services in Town of Niskayuna

Great spot! This is my neighborhood, so I've seen this go from Mohawk Mall to the present open air Commons it is today. We shop at many of the stores here. Price Chopper being the most often. I was happy to see Ulta show up. Old Navy has been there a long time and is over of my favorite places to shop. Of course PetSmart/Banfield is our go to for our furkids! Lowes is another frequent stop! We miss Ruby Tuesdays but that's not the Commons fault. It would be nice to see another good family restaurant there but that's just an opinion. There are still a couple quick takeout spots here. Our favorite for an occasional treat is China King Kitchen. There are many more stops there including Target and Marshalls, so you can definitely spend the day...

I usually go to either Panera's, Pet Smart or Target here. (And once in a great while to Sprint..err..I guess it's Sprint/T-mobile now???) There are a few other stores that I also like, the Price Chopper is nice, and Marshall's is too. The only issue that I have is the way that some of the traffic flow is set up. All of these streets coming together... sometimes in winter it gets quite...challenging??? I really miss the Barnes and Noble there!!! I used to go there a lot after work, and just sit with my chai latte' from Starbucks, and look through the numerous racks of magazines there. That was before I had my tablet Ahh...those...

One stop shop for everything you need -Price Chopper, Lowes, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Ulta, Pet Smart, Marshalls, empire vision\vision works, party City, Verizon and Sprint stores, old Navy, Gap outlet, game stop, mattress store, shoe store, and more . There's Chinese food, Blaze Pizza, Taco Bell, 5 Guys, Panera, and the Price chopper has an eat in area from their fresh food area - and much more.

The area is well kept and clean. Never had an issue with parking, and their new traffic layout definitely made driving around the plaza nicer. It's really an outdoor mall though you may have to drive between lots to get to the place...
