Me and my family went to the Verizon store tonight in mohawk commons. We have been with Verizon for about 10 year and have loved our phone service but tonight i feel i may no longer be a patron. We run a business and were a family of 5 so time is not anything to waste. we visited the store at about 730pm to get some info on our son’s iphone but the two women at the store were absolutely no help his ringer flashlight and camera randomly stopped working. She then said theres nothing she can do for us that we should go to the apple store. But at the end of the day i purchase the phone from this store she then said they don't know how to help us.keep in mind its 745pm now. It was ok then i figured since i was there i would upgraded my iPhone as im due for an upgrade. She then goes its 15min to close and that i can get a new phone but she will not transfer my info from my old phone. It doesn't make any sense to get a new phone if you cant transfer your info. Im am lost for word i feel like my time was wasted and was rushed out the store nov 12 750pm. While walking out the store the the two women started to laugh as they had no intention to do anything for me and my family. Read moreYesterday (1/29/13) I went to 3 different Verizon stores, receiving HORRIBLE "sales pitches" from the first 2. After doing alot of research and reading thousands of reviews, i decided i wanted to upgrade my phone to the LG G2. The first two stores did their best to try and sell me the Samsung Gallaxy s4(which i DID NOT WANT and told them multiple time i did not want that) only to find out later from a former verizon employee that they get bonuses if they sell a certain amount of a specific phone. annoying. After i almost gave up and just went online to order my phone so i didnt have to deal with someones terrible sales pitch i decided to stop at the Verizon store on Balltown road in Mohawk commons. As soon as i walked in I was greeted by Anthony. He was WONDERFUL!!!! He was not pushy, he was so kind, and didn't feed me ANY b.s. I explained to him what i wanted and his response.."thats a great phone! what color do you want?" it was a relief not to try to be pushed or pressured into a phone i had absolute no interest in and twice the price! Everything with Anthony was relaxed, pressure free and he was very personable. I will absolutely drive a little bit further just to be able to deal with Anthony. Read moreWent to Verizon to upgrade my fiancé and mine S8s to S21s. I do my research and knew what I wanted. Was being talked to as if I didn't know a thing despite numerous occasions in which I brought up features about the phone that the sales rep didn't even know. Then my fiancé was given attitude because she asked a question in which they already answered. '
Despite all this we still decided to get new phones here (I wanted to leave, she just wanted the phone) she ended buying a new S21 and paid the full price there ($800) and I ended up settling for the S21+ and put down a $400 deposit. Her phone was in stock so she got it that day and mine they had to ship. Was told I would have it by Monday (this was all on a Saturday). Well today is now Tuesday and still no phone. Says it is supposed to come Wednesday. Didn't even ship until Tuesday morning. All they did was print the shipping label Monday. This is extremely aggravating especially after spending over $1000 in that store.
Moral of my story is avoid this Verizon if possible. I should have just left and went elsewhere but against my better judgement I didn't and paid for it. literally. I'm annoyed with being lied to and knowing nothing will come from it. I'd get a sorry at best from Verizon when it should be compensation. Either way, go to another location if possible.
