Let me tell you something. Never in ALL MY DAYS (and i have had a few days) have i seen s candle EXPLODE at the end of the wick.

My man took me here on Valentine’s Day of this year and it already looked janky with a sign tapped to the door and written in highlighter about the exact start time so i already knew i was in for a long night. It was supposed to be 7:30-9:30 and we had reservations elsewhere at 10. After starting at nearly 8:20 bc ya know.. black people… we didn’t end up finishing til nearly 11:30. There was hard any lights and no functioning heat (they had space heaters). We had a “vip experience” which included us sitting facing a wall, a bottle of wine, and a bag with perfume that made me break out and massage oil i wouldn’t dare try.

So we missed our other reservations but the candle was ok or whatever. So I’ve had it for nearly two months and burned it in increments and today while I’m cooking i hear glass break. I turn around and this frickin candle is in pieces exploded on my table and STILL ON FIRE. I had to quickly extinguish and get it off my glass table while cutting my hands up so my house didnt catch on fire. Like what???? Needless to say you can’t support all black businesses.

*update!! I did reach out to WHOEVER owns this hanky little bargain basement business and rather than apologize and make the situation right they wanted to get attorneys involved so when they asked for MY info which i obviously will not be giving them for obvious reasons they said they also could not share their attorney’s information which i asked for instead but their information was “public” so i searched BBB and NYS Dept of Business and can’t find them bc like everything else its janky. So they will be hearing from a few people going forward.

We were not picking out frangrances til after 8 Yall didn’t give any one “burn instructions” and not only that there was also no waivers signed. I love candles and have had many from all kinds of companies and NONE has ever exploded. There was way more than 2 inches of wax in that candle Rather than make it right. 🩷 Environment Literally a pastel dreamland. We had visited yesterday (late July), they change themes every now and then. You can definitely get inspired by the display pieces, bot the mention the scent too. Makes you feel like you're at a sweets bakery! There's also a photo room with neon lights, cloud chandeliers, and a sakura plant prop. Also provided is a phone stand that stands up about to your chest, and you can control the camera shutter with a remote (connected to your phone via bluetooth).

My friend and I visited on a monday, and signed up for "funday monday" activity. We were provided with a coca cola glass for the container, a bunch of wax charms, dye, and glitter. The place had a varity of scents to choose from too, most of which were sweet scents. Although there are a few non sweet ones. Coffee grains were provided to reset your nose when selecting your scent 😆

We were provided with an amazing host and she guided us step by step on our candle making process. It was a two part candle, regular wax and a foamy (the "whipped cream" wax. The whipped wax was pushed into a piping bag where you can go ham with it like you would any other baked good! 💛

I brought my father and my daughter and we all had a great time because we have a huge selection of scents and colors for our candles. Sparkles walked use through the whole process as we made the different pieces of the candles. So much fun to mix scents together and make the color for my candle base. It was also so much fun to use the whipped candle wax to make the candle the whip cream part of my candle. We got to put the wax into a frosting piping bag and decorate the top of the cupcake candle! And we added wax charms to the top. The charms and whipped wax make up cool colors when I burned my candle. I would highly recommend this place for families; My dad had a great time and so did my daughter. This place is perfect for tweens and for a night out with my friends.
