Mineola Portuguese Center — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

We have eaten here many times and have brought many people here, but the last three times the food quality has gone down in an extreme. We brought friends here Friday night and 3 of us had Osso Bucco of which in the past has been excellent. The three of us could not eat it, it was terrible, no meat all hard fat , and whatever meat was on it was dry and awful and we complained to the manager because we didn't eat any of it. To compensate they brought us over 1 shrimp dish which was terrible and then took one entree off the bill. The next day we went back to talk to the manager , spoke to the President of the club and we caught him in a lie, then he said that he would have to ask other people who ate the same dish that night before he considers a refund of the other two dishes. The meal was inedible. He never called us back, never gave us a refund and like I said, he lied to us. We will never go back, and will make sure none of the people we brought there go back. It's a shame because we went there and supported them through covid and at times my family and I were the only people in the place and can prove it with pictures. It's also a shame because the place was a great place to go....
