Sweet Amanda's — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

As a Sweet Amanda's candy rep I felt that this was one of the coolest machines I had ever seen. I had two locations to service every other week and even though there was only 2 hours of training, felt fairly confident I could handle the tasks assigned. I was only there 3 or 4 months because they fell behind in payments to the reps by as much as 6-8 weeks due to internal financial issues. Regardless of the internal issues, they should never let it affect their people in the field. The assignments ranged from easy to tedious. The machines were sometimes fickle and trying to get tech assistance on the weekends were tough. We were expected to be on hand any time a location called in a problem with their machines. There was certainly some inconsistency in the amount of candy dispensed. Jams were also possible in the bill collecting units. As far as sanitary conditions, we were expected to clean each time we were there but I would certainly question the freshness of the candy sometimes with certain flavors. Visually the candy looked good but I cannot vouch for the quality or freshness of certain flavors. There was also a shortage with the items that fit in the plastic capsules that could be purchased like stuffed animals, T-shirts etc. Machine always looked empty of the capsules. Hopefully the company has gotten some of the internal issues resolved and are operating financially positive. Good concept but at the time...

Bought some candy from the machine inside the Sunset mall here in san Angelo Tx spent $7.00 on candy 3.00 was for mini M&Ms and 4.00 for hersey kisses the kisses were so bad that they were white in color and squished they looked so old ! M&ms were alright , when i called to get a refund carol kathy or what ever name she goes by said to email her all the info so i did even sent a phoyo of her candy she has in her machine anyways so far ive called her 5 xs and sent 6 emails last email she finally got back at me since i told her legal action will be taken she emailed back saying over 4.00 , she did not realize she would be paying all court cost and filling cost ! Plus my time in all of this , all i wanted was 4.00 and , now she will be paying out so much more !! Plus a added bonus that herseys knows about...

Very cool design, willing to pay the $5 forbmy movie candy especially since you can do a mixture of 2 candies with no additional charge. I choose spree and runts, all I received were the sprees. "Sad face" couldn't bug the manager at the theater because the movie was about to start.

At least I have half the cup, would have preferred a full cup since I did pay full price.
