The Garden Art Studio: Lisa Fazio — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I've attended two events at Lisa Fazio's the garden art studio in mineola and absolutely loved it!

The first event was a Valentines Day Mason jar painting workshop. Lisa instructed us how to apply the paint with different brush strokes, with different finishing techniques while incorporating our own unique art styles.

The second event that I attended was a crystal wire wrapping jewelry class. We learned about healing qualities of crystals, while lisa let us into a beautiful meditation . Then step by step techniques where shown how to wire wrap the crystals to create a beautiful necklace. I love what I made- that’s me in the photo!

I highly recommend Lisa's classes, not only is she a talented artist, she is an experienced patient and funny teacher who takes the time to make sure everyone has fun and leaves with something uniquely your own!

The location is very zen! The Garden Art studio in Mineola is so relaxing and bright with a beautiful view of the garden and birds- so much more personal and quieter atmosphere than a big event. You can talk and hear people talk and get to make new friends!

She gave me good ideas and direction to lead me on the path to my own discovery of something about which I had previously been skeptical. She helped me learn to meditate to clear my mind so I can more readily accept that which I am looking for. The very next day after our session, while walking with my daughter, moments after we stepped out of the front door, we saw unmistakable signs, that before my meeting with her would've been unremarkable. I went to Lisa Fazio's winter bottle painting workshop and had a great time! It's was just Lisa and me. We had a nice chat while she instructed me on how to paint the winter scene on the bottle. She sketched the outline on the bottle and I filled it in. I learned new techniques even though I do a lot of painting events.

She has a beautiful studio in Mineola with room for about 10 people comfortably. She offers several types of art workshops such as painting, jewelry making, decorations, and more that anyone can learn how to do. She has several samples of her work. A couple of my favorites are painted vases and a mirror where you paint the frame. It's a unique spin rather than just painting on canvas or paper.
