The restaurant itself has a very open layout, which feels a bit unusual because a lot of the space seems unused. That said, it works in their favor. There’s adequate seating for different group sizes and crowd levels, and what I really appreciated is that I could wait for my food without feeling like I was standing on top of someone or like someone was hovering over me. I ordered the vegan burger and fries. The vegan burger is actually quite tasty and surprisingly close in flavor to a real burger. However, it does have a pretty strong and unpleasant smell; definitely something to be aware of. But if you can get past the smell, the taste makes up for it. If you’ve got a big appetite, I’d recommend going for the double. As for the fries they’re good, but I think the price point is a bit high for the portion size. Would’ve liked a bit more for what I paid.

Grand opening @11pm--Got myself a Double Cheeseburger with all the fixins and some fries. I recommend the double if your decently hungry. It's not an overwhelming amount of meat in your mouth (thats what she said), its the perfect ratio of potato bun and meat. Smashburger style, the right amount of grease, sauce reminds me of shake shake, which is.a good thing. The fries are the straight squared-off style-- which usually im not a fan of, but they have that little bit of extra batter on them that gives em just the right amount of crisp needed. Came to $16 with tax. Id like to add that even after a long and probably extremely busy opening day, the guy behind the counter was still friendly, and he still had another 3+hours (3am) before they lock the door. Love that this exists in my town now.

We were pretty excited to get our own "7th Street" nearby in Nassau county. Liked the "KISS" premise of "keep it simple smarty-pants" (see menu). Friday night, it was 80% full, lot's of buzz in the industrial looking open layout space. Resembles Five Guys. We ordered 2 double cheeseburgers @ $9.50/each. We then ordered 2 Shake Shack, also nearby, double cheeseburgers @ $11/each. Took all the test samples home for the show down. 7th Street was good. SS was great. The new normal is a $10 cheeseburger and we still haven't found a contender to SS, but we're not giving up.

There I was, just another morning in my house of chaos. One kid needs to go to school, the other hasn’t gone in weeks. Bank let me go. Need something quick and easy to please the gang. Do I get my boy nuggets (not store brand you heathens) again as usual with a side of Doritos, but not regular of course….or do I dare try something new and see if he accepts my offering. My two cats are pretty cool. I always forget their names though. Anyway, back to the food. Oh and the damn new tablet is broken….AGAIN! I found a place though for 20 bucks a pop, only a 30 minute drive. Worth it. I’ll leave a review for them next.

Okay food. Came here and boy oh boy the smells got me excited. I could tell these burgers were going to be if not the best, very close to it! But would it fulfill my kiddos needs. That’s the real test. For me, if I can rate it more than 5 I would. For my kid, he smashed it a few times, screamed at James while showing his dominance to the patty and then scarfed that art piece that they called a cheeseburger down. He was stoked! More than stoked!!!! Looks like we got a new item on the lil chaps menu for him! Thank you burger gods for creating this place.

Be back in 2 weeks. We got a doctors appointment then and will reward youngin with...

I know today was opening day so it was crowded. I went inside to place my order, I might have had better luck online. Waited 45 minutes for my order. Which was a basic order 2 burgers and 2 fries. The 1st time I had someone check on my order, as I noticed people that got here after me left with food. The man said Oh its our first day, asked in the back if my order was there , then disappeared in the back. Came out and said it would be out soon. However another 20 minutes passed and no food. I said I want my money back and they refused. Didn't offer me a free fries or burger . Didn't take anything off bill. Still waited, I got more upset as I feel since you clearly lost my order , I should be a priority . No other people getting their food and leaving. So based on this terrible service. I am giving them 1star. When I finally got my burgers, by the time i got home they were extremely greasy. So much grease it made a...
