Panera Bread — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I consumed a wide variety of items prepared at Panera Mineola three times a day for 42 consecutive days, excluding Easter Sunday 2020...it did NOT get boring! LOL

My favorites? Spinach & Artichoke Soufflé Asiago Bagel Vanilla Cinnamon Roll Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice Soup Autumn Squash Soup w/ toasted pumpkin seeds, when in season Tuna Salad with avocado, tomatoes, red onions and American cheese on Focaccia Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT ANYTHING with Avocado, tomatoes, red onions and bacon

Manager's Adrian and Anthony, I call them "The A Team", do their best to provide a positive and consistent experience for both in-store Guests and recipients of custom Catering off-site.

If dining in OR picking up, I strongly recommend cutting the robotic and mundane Analog order line by submitting accurate PREPAID Rapid Pickup orders at your own pace and on your terms. Within seconds of submitting, your order pops up on the screen on the line packaged with everything needed to consume ANYWHERE (including plastic utensils and more than one napkin), except on Jet Blue...lol

Select Rapid Pickup @ PaneraBread.com or on Panera Bread App to avoid listening to cashier(s) repeatedly barking out "do you have a Panera Card" and "Apple, Bread or Chips" to each Guest that doesn't know or understand it's a Side offered w/ EACH Item and observing MyPanera Members holding up the line that may never get the drill.

Curbside has always been hit or miss, so I prefer to park and head directly to the Rapid Pickup bin. Although, Curbside should be respected more because it IS a essential service for the handicapped and individuals with a infant/dog in the car, etc.

I ONLY wish when I order a large green tea w/ no ice or scroll down to Choose Diet Pepsi as a Flavor, I didn't have to carry everything to the opposite side of dining room near the bathrooms to fill a empty cup.

Last summer up until Labor Day, EACH dollar of VALUE purchased or added to a plastic or e Panera Gift Card @ PaneraBread.com cost $0.80. What a great way for Panera to share the love with others or for individuals on a fixed income and regular customers that tell their friends and visit more often. Hope Panera is planning to offer it again this summer???

For accurate Nutritional Information on each item, except Kids Mac & Cheese, Panera App is ONLY resource, and nobody asks for a Panera Card and if you want apple, bread or chips...lol

This Cafe also produces, and delivers, large orders that serve any number of people. Since pandemic, Box Lunches that come with kettle chips and a chocolate chip cookie are the most requested, although the Large Green Goddess Salad w/ Chicken that serves like 8 people is the best bang for the buck, in my opinion. Note: Green Goddess and Lime Chili dressings are made from scratch in-store.

Bagel, pastry and brownie packs or hot egg sandwiches and egg soufflés (eggs served before 11am) coupled with 10 cup Hot Beverage of your choice Tote is perfect choice for a morning or afternoon meeting, presentation, gathering or event.

Cafe routinely delivers large orders to front-line HEROES @ LIJ, Cohen Children's Hospital, North Shore University Medical Center and NYU Langone, formerly Winthrop, as well as to medical office workers, business meetings & events, to a family grieving at area Funeral Home, to a Veterinarian office that saved Muffie's life, to Jones Beach to feed guests of Sponsor of fundraising walks on the boardwalk, etc., 7 days a week.

DON'T FORGET TO ADD A TIP...

The food is very, very good, but unfortunately the "friction" of the customer service experience really gets in the way. The quick pick up option is very unreliable--about 75% of the time, even if the app says your food is ready and waiting in the pick-up bin, it's actually still behind the counter. This is a problem as the restaurant is chronically understaffed. It's not fun to get in a four-person line to get your "quick" pick-up. It's also really weird that if you order dine-in, you have to request your cup from the cashier (you cannot get it from where you pick up the rest of your order, even if you add an optional tip for, theoretically, better service). There is also the perennial problem that if you order a customized meal, about half the time there is an error in the ingredients. For example, missing/wrong salad ingredients, the wrong portion of bread, the wrong soup, etc., etc. They will correct it, but it means again waiting in line... Arggh.

It's a shame, as the food is otherwise incredible. I'll still visit Panera often, but I'll probably drive a little further to another branch a little farther south that seems to have solved these issues. I'll probably limit my visits at this (closer) Panera to the simplest orders (i.e., to pick up one of their...

What can you say about Panera...It is a place where people hang out For hours on end and there are many wonderful memories... For some Panera is a house of horrors.. A place where a smelly weirdo with a dirty polo shirt asks College students for 500 dollars to invest in their future. A small price to pay for the opportunity of a lifetime also known as a Pyramid scheme!

Panera is a place to take your 5 year old daughter that "grandma will not be visiting anymore but will always be watching over you"

Panera is a place you meet your ex wife and her new boyfriend to pick up your 2 kids for daddy weekend. ...or a place to meet up with a new tinder date that you aren't quite sure if you are attracted to....see how it goes at Panera before heading home.

I have seen these scenarios and many many crazy things at Panera. I love it so much. So many amazing stories from my many visits to various Panera locations in Long Island and the 5 boroughs.
