Other than the supermarket of SS, there's nothing that stands out to patrons that catches your eye and grabs control of your legs compelling you to patronize the stores. Or, at the very least, stroll past and window shop. Seems to be repeat business and locals aware of there existence, this would explain why some stores are no longer there. Hamptonesque vibe in Greenvale Wheatley is a nice sized shopping plaza with ample parking and a variety of shops and restaurants. There's something here for just about everyone.I can't remember every business but a few that stand out are Funky Monkey an upscale and fun toy store, Bar Frites Restaurant again hh and large.A very busy bar and restaurant that gives the plaza it's Hamptons feel. I literally use this as a short cut to avoid the traffic light at Glen cove road. You're welcome for that tip. Bar Frites is here, their food is amazing. Expensive but worth the price. I only use this starbucks because it's the last one on my route driving into the city without a big detour off the highway. I have literally almost been hit by a car in this parking lot two times and almost gotten into countless accidents with numerous outrageously expensive cars.
