Sonu provided not only a very professional, but highly enjoyable experience for my mother and I. We came to her with 3 dresses requiring alterations before my brother's wedding, plus a tight deadline, and she came back to us with exceptional speed and expertise. Sonu worked with both of us to get our fits "just right," taking time for several fittings and small adjustments until the dresses looked stunning. She provided recommendations on matching shoes which ultimately helped mom feel confident and beautiful in her dresses, and even taught me how to tie my dress's corset properly. Lastly, she helped me make a lace choker necklace, which I LOVE, to complete my look - exactly as I'd imagined it. Beyond our expectations. Next time we have precious clothing that needs to be altered with expertise and care, we will be taking to Sonu & her team....

AWFUL. I took several designer pieces (Missoni, Emilio Pucci, D&G) and some swimsuits to be altered. Basic alterations, shorten straps, hem the length, take in for size. Completely butchered because she sends out the garments to unskilled tailors. Then she offered to “fix” the items and still they are a mess. She just tucks extra fabric into the lining in most cases, and it looks bulky and awful. In others, she hemmed a dress in such a rough and sloppy way, not even getting the length correct. On another piece, the stitching is coming undone and it’s never been worn. When approached, she made a bunch of excuses saying that I didn’t ask for good fine tailoring work to be done, lol. What?? Save yourself the headaches and avoid this seamstress at all costs. She butchered around $7k total in clothing. Hope she enjoys small...

I've been going to Sonu for almost 18 years now. I can confidently say that I've yet to have a bad experience with her. Everything she has stitched for me has fit like a glove. She truly is an artist. My blouses are all one of a kind. She is extremely creative and so good at bringing my vision to life. I have called/texted her late night in a panic saying I need something done in two days...and bam...it's done. She's a pro. She has been my go-to tailor for every milestone from my my sweet 16 in 2002, my engagement lengha in 2015, my wedding saree blouse in 2016, and most recently, the suit I wore for my son's baptism. If I had time I would would'v posted more pictures of everything she's tailored for me over the last 18 years. We currently live in NJ but any time I have an event...I take that trip out...
