Long Island Igloos — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

So I work at the Americana in Manhasset, & this is the second magical holiday season that Long Island Igloos has set up a half dozen of their beautiful igloos throughout the perimeter of this shopping & dining mall. Last year when my fellow employees & I went outdoors to buy lunch, we were confused as to who could use the igloos. Imagine our surprise when the sign inside said to make yourself cozy & enjoy an hour to sit & relax with friends. These igloos are so pretty to look at, & then when you enter & zipper it closed, the real magic begins. Complete with comfy sofas, plush pillows & blankets, glass coffee table, twinkling lights & chandelier & fireplace/heater, you can take off your coat & enjoy the warmth of the fireplace & the sun streaming in as you watch the crowds walk by. They would be the perfect addition to any special event or party, or just a lovely indulgence for any home occasion. Neil and his associate are awesome to do business with. They are great communicators and extremely friendly on the phone and through all other forms of communication. Neil was clear about when he was going to deliver and he showed up promptly and installed the igloo in an impressively short amount of time. The whole process was completely painless. Some considerations: when choosing your igloo, you’ll be looking at Instagram photos of igloos rented by past customers. Those customers may have added their own embellishments, which do not come with the igloo. Be sure to clarify exactly what does and doesn’t come with your igloo rental and make sure inclusions are written on the final contract in detail. Also, consider that seat cushions may be dirtier and less firm than they were when the past renter’s photos were taken. As a final note, we were very pleased to get a brand new, never-been-used canopy that held up beautifully on a rainy New Year’s evening and we never felt a drop! We had rented one on the igloos for a friends 30th birthday and let me tell you . . . The customer service was wonderful. They were very accommodating and very quick to get back to you if you had any questions. We had to change location last minutes which I know could have been very annoying and frustrating but he didn’t show any sign or frustration and was actually really nice about it and didn’t give us any problems. Neil is who came and set it up for us and he was very nice and made sure everything was exactly where it needed to be and that we were satisfied. I have to add that the heater inside rest is a nice touch too. We rented on a weekend that it rained and was pretty chilly and we had no problem on the inside, it stayed nice and warm and comfy.
