When we bought the house it was admittedly an eye sore but we loved the neighborhood and knew one day we’d be able to get it done. Six years later that became a reality. I walked over and introduced myself and they arranged a free consultation for me that same day! From the moment they stepped foot in my home, the professionalism and visionary creativity was unmatched. They had so many different ideas for a space that we thought not much could be done with. They worked with us in painstaking detail to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. And the price truly couldn’t be beat! I contacted Marcel's Kitchen & Bath and within the week, Gerry, the company's President came to my home for a consultation. He was the only contractor I met with because he listened to what I envisioned and didn't try to convince me to do otherwise. His estimate for what we initially discussed was right on target. Being in the middle of a pandemic, he was honest about possible delays in getting the necessary permits and the possible increase in cost of building materials. Just from that initial conversation, I knew Gerry was the right person to trust and oversee the transformation of our very tired 68 year old home. Going forward, he referred us to a gifted architect, who listened to my ideas, drew up the plans and secured the appropriate permits. The conversion of two bedrooms into a master bedroom/bathroom, the renovation of an existing bathroom into a powder room with storage closet and the removal of a wall between my living room and kitchen to create an "open concept" floorplan. In addition, as the work progressed, Gerry made some suggestions that were well appreciated and I saw some opportunities to add on some additional improvements. This was a "Project". But, Gerry and his team addressed the renovation like an fine tuned orchestra, each section knowing when to play their part.
