I order a platform bedroom set in September expecting the bed to be very sturdy. By November I encountered issues with the bed and found that there are 3 wood sticks going down the center of the bed from the floor to the pannels to help support the bed. These levers are very thin and it was obvious that the screw used to hold it in place split the wood levers and the platform panels gave in and now i have a broken bed. At this point I had to remove the mattress and place it on the floor. The customer service at this store is extremely poor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING FURNITURE FROM THE FURNITURE OUTLET IN PELHAM. I went into the store to see if they can assist with rectifying the issue and Al said to send the picture to a particular number and he will have someone call me to take a look at the issue to see if they can fix it. He also said they would charge me just for coming. This was on a Thursday, I was suppose to get a call on Saturday. Instead Al called and said the tech would now call on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and no call. I then called the store 2x the following week and Connie said she will explain the issue to the manager Joe and get back to me. I am now nine days in and no satisfactory response. I then placed another call to let Connie know that I will come in and talk to Joe myself. Before I got to the store Joe calls and says that he saw the pictures and he can only order the same cheap wood for the levers and pannels from the manufacturer and it will cost $200 plus installation fees. He insisted that maybe I moved the bed and that could be why the reason why the levers gave in. First of all Joseph the bed weighs a ton, it is not moving around and it has under bed draws on both side and the front. My son weighs 150 lbs, this should NOT have gave in by any means after 3 months. At the end of the day, they did nothing to help justify my purchase a ALL. Only to tell me they have never received a complaint about this set (oh of course not, why would you say any diffrent) and I would need to spend an additional 200 to 400 dollars to fix a set I only had for 3 months and no one came out to look at the damage! Mind you I got the run around for 9 days. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE OR THEIR SERVICE AT ALL. Joe stated that they are an independent store managed by him so there is no regional manager nor a corporate office. He also mentioned the manufacturer but, could not give me their number because I need to have an account to talk to someone. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!

However, it is the some post on all platforms, same story, same truth to my experience and that's why you have no relevent response to rectify your bad customer service...so where is the lie, this is nothing but on point detailed facts! If you don't like to hear the truth then treat your customers that spend money at your store better. It's your karma and inconsiderate service! I told you I was going to leave a review. Went to this place February 1, my friend purchased a bedroom set for little more than $1000.00. Was told how they have containers full of these sets and would get it in two weeks. Got a call in two weeks, stating that when the set came, it was damaged and they were waiting on another set to come. Two months passed and not one phone call from this place letting her know any updated information regarding her purchase. Went back to the store to see Joe on March 30th, who sold the furniture to her, he said he had no clue that she didn't receive the furniture and then tried to cast blame on another worker there who clearly had no idea what he was talking about. He made a call to some woman who stated that the pieces had not been received yet. Also, they could not refund my friend, as Joe stated they are not allowed. Told her to call back on Monday or Tuesday to see if the furniture had arrived. He made absolutely no attempt to explain how it was taking so long to receive this furniture. She had moved into a new apartment and had no bedroom furniture for all this duration.
Joe called her on Tuesday April 2nd, said it came and arranged for delivery on Saturday April 6th between 11-3pm. She received a call that day, stating that the rails for the bed were damaged and they would replace them with metal ones until they received the replacements. She waited all afternoon until approximately 5:30pm, delivery never came and never received another call telling her why they didn't come. Now, on April 11th she receives a call at 1pm, saying that her furniture came and they could deliver that day. Unfortunately, she couldn't leave work so they planned to deliver on Friday April 12th at 7:30pm.
Conclusion....I wouldn't never recommend anyone to this place. Never have I experienced such POOR customer service in my life. Even when they are totally in the wrong, they offer no explanation or resolution. Will make a complaint with BBB. Basically, take your money and that's it!!

Read moreWhen first getting to the place they do seem very nice and the furniture is a great price. I would love to say everything went smooth when going there we found a mattress and couch we want. The sales associate said we can have it by they earliest connivence we just have to pick the date. It sounded wonderful. We put money down to lock everything in and told them we will come back to put the rest as soon as we get the keys to our new place. When we got our keys we came back to pay the rest of the remaining balance. After we paid they told us the mattress we wanted was unavailable and if we were to cancel the order we will have to pay half of the original order so we had to settle with another mattress. We then agreed to a date until the week of the actual delivery date they told us that the mattress will not be there until the following week and with all the frustration I ask they do something for the delay they gave us an area rug for the inconvenience. When the day came to deliver our furniture they stated that they couldn't deliver that day we will have to wait one more week we absolutely couldn't do that again told them they will have to figure something out. They called there manager (are so they said) that they will deliver the mattress I asked not the sofa they said the sofa was never on the truck and for them to deliver it we will have to pay an extra 50 dollars. We did not agree to that and it wasn't anywhere on the contract. But they did deliver the mattress on that day but not until nearly 9pm at night. I end up not doing the delivery for the sofa getting a truck and bring it myself. This place is great for the prices but terrible delivery service they look like they are trying to milk you for business and they truly will give you the run around keep in mind I couldn't sleep in my apartment for about two weeks because of having no furniture I really advice people not to go to this place better off at Bob's less headache and not charging...
