Tonight I stopped in to pick up a few items. Everything was great until I decided to use the self check out. First of all I put my bag in place and answered the question that I put a bag on the scales. Then I tried to swipe my shoppers card. The card usually lets me know it has acknowledgment my card but it did not, so I tried again and this time said transaction cancelled. So I called over for assistance. The girl came over and told me it was not working because my bag was on the scales. This was not the first time I done it this way. She took one of my items and scanned it and then said everything was ok. I asked about the shoppers card and she said if it did not scan she would come back and use her card. After I scanned everything I noticed I did not get the sales price on the ham. I called her back and told her that the discount was not there. Without checking anything she told me that I must have read the sales price on the wrong ham because they have so many. That pissed me off and left the store but once I got to my car I grabbed my receipt and came back in the store and checked the price out for myself. The ham had the sales price right under what I had chose so I took a picture and went to the front of the store and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a manager who did a great job and listened to me. In the small print the sale price expired 2 days ago but the tag was still in the shelf with the item that I purchased on it. My issue is not that I lost a dollar, my issue is that the young lady basically told me I did not know what I was doing, I was confused and misread something without her even checking out what I was telling her! I feel like her conversation with a co-worker had more importance than helping a customer and doing her job correctly. In my mind Wegmans will be the last choice moving forward. I am available for a phone call and or face to face discussion anytime. This happened around 5:45pm. 11/25/2024. Thank you for letting me express...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWegmans you arenāt perfect after all. After all these years youāve been nothing short of amazing. I mean you truly have it all from happy, smiling employees, to organized product facing, laser lined groceries, to dining ware, and even outdoor fun. Your ready to eat food is truly like no other - fresh and full of flavor. The sushi is fresh, the pizza is crispy, and your subs canāt be beat. I was born and raised in Rochester going to Wegmans as a child, moved away to New England and was so shocked to see more Wegmans!!! The absolute best consistent service I have always been use too. Sure the prices are a little higher than the competition but nothing is as fresh and quite like the experience you get at Wegmans. That is until this new experience when we moved back to the Rochester area now a wife and two kids later we needed a pharmacy. We thought wegmans gets everything right why not, itās so convenient. Weāve not been waiting on our prescription for what will be 4 days. Which doesnāt seem terrible but our previous experience with Walgreens has been same day service. We have been told it will be ready tomorrow by 3pm twice and still nothing. I know you canāt help with shipping but setting proper expectations is so crucial and if itās not in after being told so we got no notice. I talked to my sister who had a very similar situation with a medication for my nephew. We will absolutely continue shopping here but sadly will need to choose a different pharmacy for now. I hope you can find the same consistency for your pharmacy as you do for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs I went in today to sign up for the shopper rewards card at the Customer service desk ( which was rather full of employees 6 to be exact), I was greeted by a very pleasant young woman. She appeared to be of Puerto Rican decent (I'll explain why I know this later). She was doing her best and trying to get me signed up for your customer loyalty card. My ID was not cooperating with her and her shift was about to be over so she left me in good hand with a very nice gentleman. As he was assisting me there were three employees having a conversation behind him. The conversation started off with asking one of the employees of their nationality. After that is where everything went exponentially downhill. The other two employees began denouncing the United States and openly disagreeing and stating that it is the worst place they have ever lived. They openly admitted that they would rather live in a European country and that they could not stand living here in the United States. they even went as far as saying that Puerto Rico even after a devastating hurricane was so much better than living in the United States. The first young lady that assisted me spoke up and admitted that she was from there. I have never seen so much disrespect for a country that provides so much freedom. This is a disgrace and an outrage. I never plan on shopping at this location or at any...
