Just visited to buy my kids some sneakers, however my sister felt uncomfortable with the way the younger white associate offered us assistance. She made us feel like because we were black we were gonna steal. She walked past other patrons without asking if they need help. Another associate offered us help which we declined even tho she was super helpful and informative she also was a POC like us. We went to let the managers disrespectful and dismissive. He threatened to call the cops on us and the other female manager as well. She assumed I was recording her and immediately told me I can’t record her which I wasn’t but do have the right too. The male manager is Spanish with facial tattoos and came around the counter which made us feel even more uncomfortable and defensive. He had no reason to walk up on us like this. If we were Caucasian women I wouldn’t even be typing this or this much probably. This store is poorly ran especially when it comes to complaints. I also want to enforce both managers should be fired. We left, didn’t purchase a thing. He stood at the windows watching us walk through the parking lot as well as gave us the finger multiple times. As a frequent shopper and shoe lover this saddens me. I have purchase from various locations but will not be back. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years. And this isn’t over. The customer service here was phenomenal, from the minute I walked in I was greeted. I was asked 2-3 times if I was finding everything okay. The store was clean, organized and felt very comfortable. The tall guy (I believe to be one of the managers) was very helpful, knowledgeable and took his time in helping me find arch fit shoes, snow boots and shoe polish. This kind gentleman even helped me put on the shoes (I just had surgery not too long ago) that was super helpful. I even signed up for their rewards program, the cashier was so sweet, patient and had a great sense of humor. I will most likely tell my family and friends about this store and my experience. While I generally like the shoe department stores, I enjoy the nice look inside, however the sideways aisles just feel off and it is complicated to navigate. There needs to be signs overhead detailing where men's or women's are the way they have it set up. In the rest of the stores there is a space in the center that divides the two sections and makes it easier. But here everything was just all one big clump of shoes. It's a poor design execution that needs to fit the rest of the stores in the areas layout for a better shopping experience. Glad they Carry lots of Levi shoes and...
