I called to get a speed queen clothes dryer serviced. The dryer was purchased from a different retailer in 2023 and is still under the warranty from the manufacturer. (the retailer it was purchased from is no longer open or we would have contacted them for the repair). The person at Weygants informed me that they would not be able to cover the service on the dryer underneath the manufactures warranty because we didn’t purchase the machine from them. And that they can only cover machines that they sold new under warranty.. He did say (very reluctantly I will add) that they would service service the machine, However it would be a low priority for them as we didn’t purchase the machine from them so any of their customers that purchased appliances from them new would then take priority over ours. He provided me with the phone number for speed queen customer service to talk to them about the warranty. When I talked to the representative from speed queen and let them know about my conversation with Weygants, he confirmed that the machine is still under warranty and that all authorized service locations should honor that warranty regardless of the purchase location.
This was my first and only interaction with Weygants, and it was very disappointing to...
Read moreLet me start by saying I have bought all my appliances through Wegants. This go around was a new gas stove, and I love it. However, the stove leaked gas, and someone had to come out, turn off the gas and order a replacement. Today, they delivered the new stove. It is just what I ordered and I love it. However, I’m quite disappointed in the delivery. They had to remove connecting piece to the storm door in order to get the stove in. But when they replaced the piece, they stripped 2 of the 4 screws and failed to mention this. They just left. I opened the door and one of the screws fell right out as the pull on the door caused the piece to pull away. This may not seem like a big deal, but had I not noticed, it could have lead to the piece breaking and the whole mechanism needing replaced. Then I noticed they scratched the kitchen floor and knocked off a hook that was on the fridge that we use to put keys on. They clearly knew it got knocked off because the hook and the keys were placed on the kitchen island. I called the store about the door, and all I was told was they’ll “investigate.” It wasn’t until I got off the phone and began cleaning the kitchen did I notice the floor and hook... I will be purchasing my future appliances for...
Read moreSingle-handedly the worst experience I’ve ever had shopping or attempting to shop anywhere. Not only within they not even try to work with me on cross referencing a part number, but before I could get out the front door before I even headed all the way open the same gentleman that was “helping me. “ Made the comment “did he smoke a whole pack of cigarettes before he walked in here” due to the fact that my thick winter jacket probably smelled like cigarettes as I am a smoker. However, the comment should not have been made let alone while I was still within the vicinity of earshot and not even out the door. The rudest customer experience I have ever been through. If this is how you treat one random customer who is simply trying to find a part for their fridge, I cannot understand how there is ANY income made from business. I understand some customers are really out of order in May. I have a different smell complex from time to time as I am the general manager of a restaurant, but you still never treat somebody the way I was treated. You have lost my business and any kind of referral good job young guy in dark green shirt. You cost your company business and probably more...
