Overall I would have given it a 4, but the last two times I dined there, the worker's kids were running around and playing loud music. For that reason alone I am giving it a 1. Here's a full breakdown:
Food: There is a decent selection. Typical appetizers (rangoons, egg rolls, pot stickers, etc). And maybe 15 or so typical entrees (General Tso's, Pepper beef, chicken and broccoli, etc). They also have soups, salads and deserts, but I mainly stick to the apps and entrees. Quality is far from the best, but definitely not the worst I've had.
Service: The service isn't bad. Other reviewers have complained about not getting refills and getting the check too quickly. I have not had this problem. They have offered drink refills. And, since I'm a fast eater and take quick lunch breaks I actually appreciate them bringing the check to the table quickly.
Environment: This is the big one... I like a calm, quiet, and relaxing dining experience. That being said, my biggest complaint is that the workers let their kids run around and/or blast music on a tablet while I'm trying to enjoy lunch. I have dined here many times previously and the past two times I've dined here this has happened. An uncomfortable dining experience is something that will influence my repeat business. I really hope the managers/owners read this (and read the other reviews that have mentioned this) and are a little more proactive about facilitating a calm and relaxing dining experience. If there are kids running around/blasting music the next time I am there, I won't be going back.
Cleanliness: Tables and flatware seemed clean. No complaints. I did not check the restroom though.
Price: At the time of this writing, it's about $9 for a lunch buffet. I'd say that's about on par for buffets in the...
Read moreChina Buffet altered the tip line without my consent. I was charged $42.67 and they added $3 more to the amount. I left $2 cash on the table due to the service my family and I have was provided on Saturday, March 9 while dining in for lunch. The waiters did not clear the stacks of plates on our table and did not refill our drinks nor did they checked up on us. They kept walking past us and finally picked up the first stack of plates after we had came back from getting seconds, in which they did see us leave for more food. I was out of soda but the waiter just picked up the plates, ignoring my empty cup which I set right next to the dirty plates. All the waiters kept walking by and picking up the other people’s plates and refilled their drinks but we were ignored. My wife had to wave at one of the waitress to come over to refill my soda and she asked, “Half cup or full cup?”
I was so livid, I was nice enough to leave a $2 cash tip on the table. I went to pay for our meal with my bank card. Upon logging online, my pending amount was $42.67. As of this morning when the transaction went through, they had altered my tip amount and now the amount says $45.67. This is fraud! I am a good tipper and always tip at least 20% and most time way more depending on the service that was provided. If you want good tips, you provide good service. You don’t altered anyone’s tip lines without their consent! Needless to say, we will...
Read moreSome truth in each person's review, please you have a nice family resturaunt, but having kids playing loud games with loud music is not appropriate. The video game music was loud and annoying. Also I was eating for a 45 minutes and got one drink! I was really thursty but everyone was to bussy doing otherthings. The customers eating should be your #1 priority. I watched customers get a table but little attention was provided... " still no drink" the food was mostly empty with 10 or so waiting for the food to be filled. YES! The shrimp finly came out they were great! You have all you can eat crab legs.... ive been here for an hour only 1 crab leg was floating in the pan! Not sure how that counts as all you can eat! "Still no drink" heading to the front to pay! I was excited to see a fresh pan of garlic bread being placed on the Bar! Nothing better than Chinees "garlic bread" Still...
