Queensbury locationā I stop in every morning to get coffee and usually some kind of breakfast. Its clear that the prices are above your typical fast serving food and beverage place. The visit and the workers make it worth it. I go through the drive through and immediately someone is kind. Itās usually a kind voice starting with āhey friend.ā I appreciate the workers effort. Anytime I order a new drink they offer advice on how to spice up the drink based on what Iām trying to explain to them. I donāt usually write reviews because I donāt know if anyone really looks at them, but Iāll tell a fun short story of what prompted me this morning to write one. This is an all the time kindness I get here but this story in particularā I was thinking I wanted something new. I was ordering and the woman was apologetic because she is new and she was trying to find what I was looking for, no need to be apologetic. Take your time (: I get up to the window and itās clearly busy and they are rushing around. The woman who hands me my coffee took time out of her orders and running around to explain more what the coffee was that I got. (Not sweet) I like sweet. So she without hesitation said okay I can throw some creamer in this to lighten it up. To her that was probably nothing and she does it all day long. But to someone who is starting off every day with a nice fresh coffee, itās so nice to take that sip knowing that itās going to be good and they wanted it to be good for you. Small acts of kindness really go a long way. Every worker in this location has been a friendly vibe. Iām stumbling out of bed every morning and going straight to coffee. The positive attitude they give off sets my 10 hour work day off on a good note. I know this is long, I hope someone reads it and just says thank you for coming in today to every worker there. I donāt mind spending the extra couple dollars every day when I feel like a valued customer and I know the person in front of me and behind me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst workglow I've ever seen at a Starbucks. It's not the staff. They were friendly, efficient and working very hard. However, the workflow favors mobile orders and drive-thru. As someone who took the time to stop, get out of my car and go in to see the newly renovated space and show support by actually going inside, I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied to watch at least 20 mobile orders get filled (not to mention the drive-thru orders) whe I stood for 20 minutes waiting for my order. Starbucks clearly does not value people who go into their stores. Then I learned that Starbucks no longer allows in-store customers to add their own sugar, cream, etc. to make the coffee taste exactly how the customer would like. That was always a Starbucks feature that distinguished it from Dunkin, in my opinion. I'm not a drive-thru or mobile order person, so will not be going to Starbucks anymore. I'll find local coffee shops that still believe in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. I am a Doordasher and it's obvious that this location doesn't like Doordashers. I went to pick up one iced caramel macchiato and I stood there for 20 minutes waiting for the order. I asked twice about it and was told it was being prepared. I went to ask a 3rd time and got ignored š. I stood there & watched so many people come in after me, were treated better than me, & received their orders in a timely manner. So unprofessional. I do Doordash as a side job to make extra money & have been a nurse for over 30 years. I have always treated everyone with the same kindness. This was beyond unacceptable. I had to contact Doordash and unassign the order because I had to get to my other job. In short, the customer ended up having to wait even longer for their drink & I lost out on money. I won't be going back there after...
