Wesley Hills plaza is one of the charms of Rockland. It caters to the growing number of Orthodox Jews, but also to the county's small but adventurous foodies. The latter seek out the many Israeli products which are the best in their class: Israeli mayonnaise, a good substitute for the French one, and a lot cheaper. Exotic varieties of spreads, like Achla, the best pita sold in the county, probably the best bagels if you know that a bagel should be thin and chewy, not the thick cake like ones sold in bagel stores.
