Ny Dress Shop — Local services in Town of Riverhead

I’ve never experienced worse treatment at a store before! I dealt with one of the owners of this store for over a month regarding a prom dress rental. I asked if rentals were done at this store and she confirmed they were. I selected a dress which she then said she would put on hold so i could pick it up closer to my prom date. Around 2 weeks later she calls saying she sold the dress she had put aside for me .. which was already unprofessional. It later turned out she never sold the dress it was still in the store when I stopped by again.

I was told to go to her Deer Park store to select another dress so I went. I picked out a dress and went up to the register to ring it up. She them called her employee telling her that she personally had to do the transaction and that she would pick up the dress and bring it to Riverhead. It was the week before my prom and she was no where to be reached ( not even by her employees). I stopped by the store twice and was told by her employee that I can’t put the dress. I went the next day and I was told by a different employee that I could but for a higher price.

When I finally got a hold of her to her to confirm the new information it was the day before my prom. She began yelling through the phone saying she is not dealing with this anymore to leave her store and purchase it at some other place. I expressed to her that my prom was tomorrow and that I thought we had an agreement why lead me on for so long. She then proceeded to say she was busy and hung up the phone.

Very poor professionalism and customer treatment because now that I have spoken to other about the issue i’ve received the same comments...

I went into this store looking for a dress for my cousins upcoming wedding. Honestly I had low expectations because of my figure & age and because of the reviews I read. I was immediately helped by a woman named Bianca. I told her my size & that it had to be black to hide my imperfections. She immediately grabbed a dress with ruffles, which is exactly what I didn’t want, and told me she thought it would look great on me. I did not like it all & I only tried it on because I didn’t want to be rude. I was shocked once I got it on. I loved it! It was the perfect dress for me. I hadn’t felt that good about my figure in years. I sent a picture to my daughter & she immediately got back to me telling me I had to get it. It’s a beautiful dress, it compliments my figure & I can’t wait to wear it. Bianca was very kind and helpful, I am so glad...

Honestly worst experience ever my siblings and I came to shop to look for my sisters 15 dress that I plan to gift her and this older lady with glasses that was blonde told us we shouldn’t touch anything because we are underage and can’t afford it but I’m 20 and my other sister is 18 and we told her that but then she started following us around the whole store acting like we would steal something, my sister was trying on dresses and the associate goes “ can you hand me back the dresses she tried on since you don’t plan to buy anything” and “you guys need to come back with mom” like how rude, disrespectful and discriminating can you be customer service is key but I’m glad I didn’t...
