Marco TV was contracted by PC Richard and Son to repair my Samsung TV. He drove to my apartment, did not come in, and drove back to his office where he called me to say he could not come in to fix my tv because he could not find parking on my street. When I asked why he didn't park on one of the side streets or the in the park across the street from my apartment, he said he wasn't parking and walking a mile to fix a tv. When I pointed out that the side streets and park streets are within 100 feet of my front door, he denied even seeing they were there - which is even more ridiculous given that they are clearly visible from anywhere near my apartment. When I asked why he didn't call while he was here, he said "What good was that going to do?". I said I could have told him where to park or have moved my car so that he could park closer, he said, "Well you just didn't give me good enough directions". Clearly that's false, since he did find my apartment. He then proceeded to tell me that he would show up sometimes the following Tuesday or Wednesday provided he could find parking, but that it was my fault for not giving him better directions. I hung up on his tirade about bad directions. Then he contacted PC Richard and said he refused to come back to my apartment to do the work.
I am sure he is capable of repairing televisions. However, his ability to interact with people, his smarmy attitude, condescending tone, blaming of his customers, and apparent laziness or lack of intelligence make this business not worth engaging with. Save yourself the headache and frustration and use any other TV repair company...
Read moreI have an Assurant insurance police on my Sony TV. The issue, per Sony, is not repairable. They sent this repair group to my house. One thing is a service person needs to stop talking to let the customer tell them the problem. I had to shout over him to get a word in. I pointed him to the Sony website to show him Sony is aware of the issue and it cannot be fixed through normal channels. Excuse the pun. He got indigent and louder towards me. I am retired a communications engineer of 30 plus years with Masters in electronic and electrical design. I am not stupid but was treated that way. He told me to send him the links and information regarding this issue. I did and I have never heard back. I have since called the insurance company and requested another service for repair. I am not sure how this person stays in business with the attitude he has towards...
Read moreWe were trying to get our LG TV repaired under warranty for a burning smell coming out of the TV. LG matched us with Marco TV service for the repair. From the first call, I had concerns on the professionalism of Marco consistent with the other google reviews. Marco frequently talked over me and talked down to me over each phone call. Nevertheless, we went forward with scheduling to make sure the visit would be covered by warranty. Marco did not come during the scheduled window telling me over the phone that all of the roads to my house were closed. He said I should drive around and see for myself if I didn't believe him. I did, and they were not all closed. I called him back and asked for clarification.
